refund We booked a flight with emergency exit seats, so we had extra legroom. Three days before our return flight, Lufthansa informed us that our seats had been changed to a regular seat. We paid €248 for it, and Go To Gate refused to refund it. They referred us to Lufthansa. They asked for our booking number, which we didn't have, and no one helped.

Scum. Utter Scum. After a death in the family, I requested a refund for an upcoming trip a they claimed they submitted the paperwork on my behalf to the airline. They then said the refund had been refused. When I contacted the airline it was approved within hours. They dragged their feet at every stage and they made me fight tooth and nail for no reason to get what I was owed. When I pointed this out to them, they made no attempt to change and tried to buy me off.

Worst Customer Care experience I've ever had I paid for three additional pieces of checked baggage for two different flight bookings but they weren't added. I called customer care and they asked me to provide proof of payment (and this is already ridiculous). I did it but still nothing happened. This can persecuted as illegitimate appropriation of my money without providing the requested service. Customer care operators are totally incompetent and not able to help in any way. I spent money and time to call them explaining all details but no action was taken. Worst experience ever!!!

Scammers Made a booking I'm a frequent traveller so I know how important correct details of travellers. Always mindful and checking spelling and numbers. Today entered my details only to see on the email confirmation with the wrong spelling!!!!! Just few seconds on finding this out quickly tried to contact GOtOGate who are not helpful at all. And was advised to contact airlines...transaction was only few minutes old! Stay well away from this booking agency you are not going to save but instead lose your money!!!!!!

Worst service I have experienced in flight tickets They won't provide service atleast good enough. They won't assist even in changing or rescheduling the flight ticket and even cancellation policies are bad as well. I tried thrice to connect with them and make a change over the flight schedules. Too bad in the service what they are providing currently.

Very lazy Approach by Gogate Customer Service Team We purchased Business Class seats, from Sydney to Jakarta, for Air Asia through Gogate, and it was awful, they supplied o Food, No television, No internet , No drinks, and we also had to pay for water. When I complained to gogate, they brushed us off and refused to help in any way, shame on you and your service, they said we have to complain to the airline, , I said they have a Duty of Care ttohelp us , because they where our agent, but they still refused and left it there , never again, sh e on you

Stay away from gotogate I would give zero stars if I could—one star is already too generous. I booked a ticket with this company in June, and on the day of the flight, just two hours before departure, I discovered it had been cancelled. That was only the beginning of the nightmare. Every time I contacted them, I received a different, confusing response, with no consistency or accountability. When I requested a refund, it has now been over four months, and I still haven’t received a single update. Multiple emails have gone unanswered. This company is unreliable, unprofessional, and completely untrustworthy. Save yourself the headache—stay away from Gotogate. They might be cheaper, but it is not worth your time, money, or stress.

Scam , price will go up by £100++ I attempted to book a flight ticket to Japan multiple times, using different laptops and my iPhone. Each time I started the booking process, the initial price was advertised as £497. We were flying with five passengers, and the website required all details, including date of birth, passport information, and expiry dates. After entering all the information and providing credit card details for the final payment, I received a message indicating that the price had increased by more than £122, just before the payment was processed. I contacted customer service for assistance, and they suggested using a different computer. I explained that I had already done that. The representative also asked me to try again after a few hours. I informed her that I had already tried yesterday and today, with about 15 to 16 hours in between and using different devices. Despite this, I was still presented with a higher price at the end of the process, after spending nearly half an hour inputting all my information. Additionally, I was concerned that my personal data had been exposed to the GoToGate. Based on my experience, I believe GoToGate operates in a deceptive manner, knowing that after investing so much time entering information, many users will accept the increased rate. I strongly advise avoiding this service, as it appears to be a scam.

Gotogate ... worst experience ever I booked tickets through gotogate to Vietnam flying Vietjet. Vietjet changed my flights 3 months before the departure date. I contacted gotogate to have my flights changed, They responded 2 weeks later saying that I needed to contact the airline directly to get my tickets changed. I called them back immediately after receiving this via email. And notified them that since they are the party through which I bought the tickets they needed to arrange the flight change. Again i spent 1 hr on the phone with a customer care team who put me through to scheduling team who then requested my flight details again and my legal right to request a flight change has gone unanswered. It has been two weeks since and still i wait for my new itinerary.Again!!!! No changes were made. I received another text from Vietjet that my original flight which i was already trying to change to new dates have been changed again. Gotogate once again has done nothing for me. I called gotogate immediately and received the same response, however I asked for a refund due to the stress and anxiety this has caused me and my wife. They said all they can do is offer a credit and i should call Vietjet directly and deal with them. I have tried dealing with them multiple time but i get the same responce... use the company you booked the tickets through..... Of what value is a credit to me when the airline doesn't keep its flights on time and has made it impossible to get a visa into the country and has not responded to me or gotogate. Never, I repeat never Book anything through gotogate. Worst company I have come across in all my years of booking flights. And Never use Vietjet either. Absolute rubbish company!!!!

SCAM It's a scam, do not buy flight tickets with them is not worth it. One of my flights was cancelled due to weather conditions, they guarantee a refund and after 8 months I am still waiting for the refund. Definitely a scam, their customer services is so poor and they only say they are waiting for the airline to pay them first. It is a joke.

Dont travel with Gotogate!!! You should NOT book trips with Gotogate!! We bought a trip to Sri Lanka via New Delhi round trip. Suddenly the trip home was pushed back 24 hours and then another 24 hours so a total of 48 hours. We could not accept this as it did not fit our plans. Then we found out that the trip was not connected to the trip home so we could only get a refund on the trip home. Then we were left with only a one-way trip to Sri Lanka!! Then suddenly the original trip appeared for sale again, when I pointed this out. Then they wanted to sell it to me again but 3000 SEK more expensive than the one I bought from the beginning. Rubbish and a complete lack of good customs and good service.

If you want to get a stroke, this is your site. I almost had a stroke from this shitty website. I tried to buy a return ticket to Toronto, and within 20 minutes they raised the price 3 times – and in the end, I couldn’t even book a damn seat for a 10-hour flight. Pathetic site. If you want to get a stroke, this is your site. Otherwise, stay the hell away from it!!!

THIEVES! THIEVES! That is the only word I can use to describe this company - I had flights booked with them from Dublin to Vietnam due to leave January 2024, 2 months beforehand the airline cancelled my connecting flight from London to Vietnam so my whole booking was cancelled. I should also add that 2 friends also booked the exact same flights. Fast forward many months later, many many many phone calls and emails later I received a partial refund - when I asked why it was only partial when both my friends received full refunds many months beforehand I was told it was subject to airline policies. I would have accepted this had it not been for my 2 friends both receiving full refunds. Why was I the only one done out of £264.28

Zero accountability My booking issue became a loop of 50 agents repeating the same intake. “It’s fixed” messages, then nothing. No‑reply emails on unrelated items, chats that end mid‑conversation, 27 hours for a response, and expensive hold times by phone. They promised same‑day resolution, then denied it in writing the next day. Extra fees and refund delays too. This felt like an operation designed to avoid responsibility. Use another provider.

They are borderline scammers If you ever have the chance to deal with Gotogate—don’t. Stop immediately. They are, at best, borderline scammers. I purchased four business-class tickets from them, only to realize afterward that two passengers’ given names and family names were swapped. I immediately requested a name change and paid an unreasonably high fee. While it was my oversight not to double-check the names, the real nightmare began afterward. A month after making the request, and just a week before departure, I saw that the names still hadn’t been corrected. The chat agents were useless, repeating endlessly that it was “pending airline approval.” I started calling instead—only to be routed 70% of the time to a call center in India, and the rest to the Philippines or other countries in Asia. These agents had no direct line to the team that could actually reissue the ticket. Their only action was to “escalate” the case, and every agent gave me different answers: one promised resolution within 24–48 hours, another claimed the airline hadn’t approved it yet. When I called the airline directly, they confirmed that only the ticket seller could make the change and told me to go back to Gotogate. After speaking with more than 50 agents, one finally discovered that Gotogate had received the airline’s waiver code three weeks earlier. This code allowed them to reprint the ticket without any airline fee—meaning their justification for charging me a high “name change fee” was false. Yet they had completely overlooked this information and kept telling me to wait. I thought the ordeal was over once they had the waiver code, but the names still weren’t fixed until the day before departure. At 2 a.m. on the day of my flight, an agent in India called to say they couldn’t change the name in the system and advised me to cancel and request a refund—minus their refund fee, of course. Imagine the frustration. They could have fixed the issue three weeks earlier, but instead, on the day of departure, they told me to cancel. In the end, I was fortunate to reach an airline manager who, as a huge favor, corrected the names on their end—something they normally wouldn’t do—though it meant complications for any future changes or cancellations. If you run into any problem with Gotogate, abandon hope of resolving it through them. You will not succeed. The best strategy is simple: avoid them at all costs.
