I just want to take a moment to say thank you to the hospital staff, doctors, nurses charge nurse (Second floor) specially to the case managers Liney Rodriguez who was very nice and sweet every time that she stop by my husband room, also to her supervisor Edward Cuello, who was so gentleman and knowledgeable explained to my and my husband some issues that we had we the insurance. We feel hopeless and lost about the next step to send my husband to the nursing home and this two sweet nurses came to our room and explained everything about and also they help us with the arrangements. Thank you so much for your support. Thank you Mrs Saura charge nurse too. All of you made our days more easy during this process.

Do not go here for any reason. I unfortunately was put there by some kind of liaison from Memorial hospital after calling them for advice. My insurance covered it but there were many other options and I did not realize what this facility was until I checked in and it was to late. It was unspeakably filthy I could not even use the restroom without having to fully put on socks and tennis shoes just to walk on the floor. I was unable to shower because there was a huge leak in the ceiling it was beyond anything I could have imagined. The only thing I will say is I had a wonderful doctor named Rosanna other than that this place needs to be checked out by the health board something is very wrong. I was put there for a detoxification situation so if you are considering going there for that please do not. I was locked in a room the whole entire time and only when giving me medicine or inedible food did anybody come in at all. Also because I do not speak Spanish I was unable to communicate with the staff and they were very rude about it. It was so bad my family had to call in and speak with someone who spoke English just to communicate for me.

My experience at Larkin Hospital was excellent. The staff was friendly, professional, and very attentive. They made sure all my questions and concerns were answered in a timely manner while making me feel at home. Before leaving, the doctor and the rest of the staff told me that they would be contacting me periodically for my follow-up. I highly recommend this hospital.

5 stars are not enough to measure the service that Larkin Health system provides. Patients are not treated like another number on a hospital scoreboard, for over the past 20 years, Larkin have always treated patients with a personal touch. They always understand there clients on a deep level and created a family oriented environment in a setting where it is necessary. Going to a hospital is a stressful enough situation, I am glad there is a place like Larkin where I could receive care with a touch of understanding.

I judged this hospital too harshly before. My experience was as good as it could be and the medical staff seamed very knowledgeable.

WORSE HOSPITAL IN THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA ! Nurses Will Argue You Down About Everything ! You Can Tell All The Nurses Are Students. Because They Are Incompetent And Careless About People’s Care. In ICU I Didn’t Have A Nurse Buzzer Because It Didn’t Work And I Couldn’t Talk After Surgery. I Had To Wave And Throw My Phone At The Door To Get The Nurses Attention. I Even Had My Mama Call In From Another State Because I Was Being Ignored After She Called They Started Paying More Attention To Me. I Finally Get Out Of ICU I Can’t Walk Or Care For Myself At All And They Just Leave Me In A Room With No Medicine And No Diaper. I’m Buzzing Asking For My Nurse They Just Hang Up They Don’t Say Someone Is Coming Or Nothing. When My Nurse Finally Comes She Barely Speaks English And She Takes My IV Out Carelessly And Leaves A Bruise And I’m Explaining How I’m Feeling And Asking For Help And She Completely Ignores Me And Answers Her Phone So I Asked Her To Leave And She Laughs And Says Something In Spanish Because She Knows I Cannot Understand I Went Off And Said I Never Want Her In My Room Again. Another Nurse Denied Me Medicine I Needed Because She Thought I Was Vaping Calls Her Supervisor And Supervisor Gives Me The Medicine Because The Supervisor Knows She Was Completely Ridiculous. This Is The Same Nurse Who Previously Asked Me To Assist With Putting My Diaper On Then Gets Frustrated Because She Dropped My Phone And I Said Something About It. She Then Proceeds To Get Mad And Say I Don’t Even Do Diapers And Wipes Her Name Off My Nurse Board And Doesn’t Give Me My Medicine Or Tell Any Other Nurse That I Had Not Received My Medicine For The Day. This Nurse Denied Me Medicine I Needed Twice Because She Did Not Like My Attitude. This Is Medicine That I Was Prescribed To Keep Me Alive. She Was Just Going To Let Me Be Without A Nurse For That Day Because She Was Mad At Me. I Requested An IV Tech Because My IV Was Hurting For 3 Days. By The 3rd Day My Nurse Was Saying Nothing Is Wrong With Your IV It’s Fine. I Happened To Find The Woman Who Put It In And Asked Her To Look At It. She Does An Ultrasound And Said There Is Blockage In My Vein. It Doesn’t Matter If You’re A Female Requesting No Male Students In Your Room They Will Force Students In Your Room And Tell You It’s A Teaching Hospital. I Sat In My Room Most Days With No Pants Or Underwear On Because Of The Bad Diaper Rash I Got Here Because Nurse Staff Wasn’t Changing Me And Had Me Sitting In Urine For Hours. I Requested No Students In My Room Especially Males And The Nurses Got Into A Full Argument With Me About This Issue. I Don’t Think It Should Be A Problem That A Patient Requests No Males In Her Room When She Has No Pants Or Underwear On But The Nurses Do. They Never Answer When You Hit The Nurses Buzzer. They’ll Even Hang Up On You. I Have Video Of Me Waiting 20 Minutes For Someone To Show Up I Could’ve Been Dead In That Time Frame. One Sunday The Nurses Staff Was Non Existence All Day Except To Give Medicine. I Walked To The Store Unsupervised Because The Only Available Nurse Was Sleep At His Desk. The Nurses Are Outside Of Your Door Being Loud Every Morning Regardless Of The Signs Posted Advising People To Be Quite. I Complained To My Doctor He Says It’s Little Cuba Outside And Laughs. I Was Exhausted One Day And Refused Labs At 3 Am And The Nurse Got So Mad She Unplugged My Personal iPad And Turned The Air On High To Be Rude And Hateful. I Mean If You Wanna Be An Experiment Or Guinea Pig Go Ahead And Check In. Most Of The Staff Lacks Basic Knowledge On Common Courtesy And Care. They Just Want To Be Right Opposed To Listening To The Patients Needs. Most Of The Nursing Staff Was Not Born In The US And This Might Be Accepted In Third World Countries But In America This Could Be A Law Suit And That’s Exactly What I’m Working On Because I’ve Never Had This Much Trouble At A Hospital And Nobody Should Have To Go Through This Much Trouble. I Wouldn’t Recommend My Worse Enemy Here Solely Because The Majority Of The Nursing Staff Is Careless And Inexperienced.

To this point mother brought in a stretcher, being well attended by emergency medical department and I am in lobby waiting to hear how everything is going and waiting to fill out paperwork. And couldn't return then have the nerve to be hypocrites because while I was there Dr. Michell or Mitchell after speaking to me over the phone before my arrival saying too see if there will be an agreement to release my mother to her PCP or primary care physician Luis Medrano didn't even show his some assistant is sent looks Indian or Islamic but can't make any definite decisions! This is the hypocrisy that is in the hospital now a days. My mother's CT scan paper work order never sent, neither her pending surgery 1st. With Jackson South. Now I'm receiving emails from Baptist hospital trying to confirm an appointment but can't because don't know of anything which wasn't received no discharge paperwork from South Dade nursing and Rehabilitation center. These places work together to steal your personal information and medicare information and medicaid funds. Becareful!

LES RECOMIENDO QUE NO VAYAN A ESE HOSPITAL. Mi esposo llegó de emergencia muy mal y la atención fue pésima, en ese lugar no existe la empatía y mucho menos calidad humana. Soy enfermera y me da vergüenza ver cómo colegas pueden tener tan poca ética, cuando nos graduamos prometemos dar el 101 % a cada paciente que tengamos sin importar raza, religión, si es asesino, si está preso incluso si nos tratan mal, NUNCA se nos puede olvidar el por qué y para que estamos ahí…Horrible la atención en ese Hospital

Mi Hijo llego a ese hospital con una crisis de diverticulitis y la presión arterial en 175/ 105 y fue malísima la atención, muy poco profesionalismo, sin una pizca de empatía hacia los enfermos, desgraciadamente en ese hospital sólo tratan bien a los que llegan recomendados o atreves de amistades. Es muy vergonzoso
