Excellent! This was such a wonderful tour. Our tour guide was friendly and very knowledgeable. We were on a smaller can with our family or 4 and one other couple. It was the perfect mix between driving around and time to explore. Our tour guide made small adjustments based on our interests. I would highly recommend!

Dunrobin and Highlands Cruise excursion. What a fantastic excursion with Sarah and a family from our cruise ship. She was very helpful with my husband and his physical needs (walker). She was exceptionally knowledgeable of all the sites we visited and the history of Scotland. We went to a couple of lookouts and view spots that the big buses don’t do. This tour included the town of Dornoch, stopped to see the seals and the Scottish coos! We then stopped at Dunrobin Castle for 2 hours. Next we went to the Falls of Shin where we were lucky to see 3 salmon jump up over the waterfall to try and get up river to spawn. Sarah then drove us to a lookout to see the Carbisdale Castle. Driving through the Scottish highlands was such a fantastic experience and a great way to spend an afternoon. We then stopped at Struie Hill for a fabulous view of many hills and a big lake. Lastly we stopped at Dingwall to see a real Storehouse. We were lucky to have beautiful weather the entire day. Thank you Sarah.

Excellent tour This was the best tour! Sarah was so nice and had so much knowledge of the history of Scotland. We loved seeing the outlander sites and hearing about all of the stories about outlander compared to real Scotland history. The castle and the surrounding area was beautiful! Sarah was the best tour guide and we really enjoyed our day with her.

Invergordon I can’t say enough about this wonderful excursion! Our tour guide went out of his way to make sure we saw everything that we were wanting to see and more! I personally wanted to see a Coo and he stopped at a farm so I could see some and stopped at any overlook that we wanted to stop at to take pictures! He was very knowledgeable and gave us a history related to our stops on the tour!

A wonderful time in Outlander country Alistair was a fabulous tour guide, filled with knowledge and enthusiasm for his subjects. He had clear explanations for all aspects of the day, and showed us the very best vantage points from which to explore each stop. He was funny, warm and friendly, and this turned out to be a highlight of our long circumnavigation by train of Great Britain. The other three guests aboard were friendly, too, which enhanced the experience. Highly recommended!

Highland highlight! Such a great day! Saw beautiful Loch Ness, highland cows, tried a flight of local gins, Cawdor castle the battle of Culloden and museum and the Clava Cairns- Sarah is an awesome story teller and guide! We loved it!

Great Tour! Highly Recommend Great tour of Clava Cairns, Culloden Battlefield, a stop for lunch/visit to Great Glen Gin Distillery, and Loch Ness/Urquhart Castle. George Murray is an outstanding tour guide! Very knowledgeable, personable and great sense of humor. A true, authentic Scotsman. Even made a slight detour so the tour group could see some Scottish highland cows up close. Particularly learned a lot of Scottish history from George at the Clava Cairns and Culloden Battlefield. Highly recommend this tour to anyone visiting Scotland. Great way to spend the day.

Wow! What a day with Alister on tour! We had the best time learning about all of the history and local tales. It was a bit of a rainy day-but Alister made the dreary day a bright one! He had so much knowledge, was warm and really a great guide! I would highly suggest this tour company to anyone! George also stopped by to say hi during our tour and he was fantastic. Book it, you’ll love everything about your tour!

Highly recommend for a wonderful tour! We toured with George for a multigenerational family trip and had a wonderful experience! George is a fabulous tour guide, and we so appreciated the personal stories and the time he took with us each individually! George was able to bring Clava Cairns alive through his stories, and we were also able to fully explore and learn the history of Culloden and Castle Urquhart, and to top it all off, we had a yummy lunch and stop at the Great Glen distillery to sample (and purchase!) the best gin in the Highlands! 10 out of 10 recommend.

Best tour and guide ever. George is knowledgeable on Scottish history, Outlander and its connections to the area, Whisky, and so much more. Did tour during cruse ship stopover at Invergorden and all went smoothly. George is a passionate ambassador for the area and a charismatic guide. Known by the locals at each stop. Hope to return in the future for more of his stories and insights!

Great tour excursion from cruise port We had a great time on our tour around the Highlands with Sarah as our guide. She was waiting for us as we got off the cruise ship in Invergordan. She asked us what our “must see” places were, to make sure they weren’t missed. We had a lovely day exploring. Got all our stops in that were listed on the itinerary , had a wonderful lunch along the way and even had time to make a quick stop at a special spot of hers, for a family photo with the highlands, on our the way back. I loved that she took a different route back to the cruise terminal so that we could see more of the area. I would highly recommend this tour operator (we also got to see one of the other guides at many stops, as they were either right before or after us, on the same journey) Both guides were wonderful.

The most AMAZING tour! 10/10! 5 stars! We had an ‘Outlander tour’ with George and it was one of the most amazing experiences! George is so knowledgeable when it comes to Scottish history. We learned and saw SO much on this tour. If you are an Outlander fan, you HAVE to book an Outlander tour with George. I left the Highlands with so much insight and amazing memories after this tour.

Go Highlands is an absolute gem! We arrived Invergordon UK via NCL on 21 May ready to go on a Private Tour (the excursion I was most excited for of all) only to realize we accidentally booked the tour on the 22 May. Alastair greeted us and recommended we talk with Mike from Historic & Scenic Tours Inverness to see if he can find us two open spots on another tour. Long story short, Mike ended up taking us on a private tour but Go Highlands promptly compensated Mike the cost of their tour that night! Go Highlands could have easily taken all our money (since it was our error and within 24 hours) and left us on the curb, but they didn't! It was refreshing to see separate companies partnering together to help us. It was clear all tour operators view their service as collaborative vs adversarial and competitive. Customer focused...GUARANTEED next time we're in Scotland we'll go with Go Highlands! If their assistance to us is any indication of their tours, we cannot wait for the experience! Thank you George, Alistair, and Mike! Your compassion made a lasting impression on two first-time travelers to Scotland!
