Used GoGo boilers to install some new radiators.
Once installed the engineer decided to fill the system but did so with a bleeding valve open that got water everywhere in our second floor bedroom.
He continued to bleed various radiators in the house without a tray to catch any water and continued to create a mess.
This subsequently lead to water damage on our dining room ceiling as well as a crack.
This was on top of the engineer being hours late, knocking over a vase and spilling water everywhere - without letting us know. As well as listening to "Alpha Male" podcasts loudly all day and into the night, was very off-putting and a terrible service and experience.
Attempted to find resolution but my emails were answered only once and then ignored.
Really disappointing

In response to your complaint, we arranged for another engineer to visit your property on December 12th. The small crack in question has been repaired, and we have scheduled a follow-up visit next week to complete the painting of the affected area.

I have used gogo Boilers for the last three years having got fed up with BG and their so called service plan. I have had nothing but great service, easy to book, arrive on time and very clean work. BG were in and out in 10 minutes, Dave T who has done the last three services is really helpful. I have also had a new thermostat and yesterday a replacement part because of a leak. Dave explains and shows you what needs doing and tells you the price so you know exactly what is going on and the cost. He is also a really nice bloke. Gogo boilers are my go to company without a doubt and I hope Dave does my future services.

Our boiler developed a fault and we called gogo out. They were able to fit us in the very next day. The engineer that attended (Dave) was friendly and knowledgable and he managed to get the boiler up and running, but l explained that it was only a temporary fix and the boiler needed to be replaced (we had this verified by 2 separate companies who agreed the cost to repair outweighed the cost of a new boiler).
Gogo's came out to fit the new boiler a few days later and, while the installation proved to be difficult and we had a few issues along the way (for a number of reasons), my 4* rating is based on the way that Steve and his team reacted to the issues, and the help and support they gave us to get all the issues resolved quickly and to our satisfaction.
We now have a new boiler, which is working well.
We would recommend gogo boilers in an emergency, for new boilers and also for boiler maintenence.

Friendly engineers helped get a fix on the boiler that another company had quoted was going to be £600 to repair. The Gogo engineer cleverly identified the exact part that needed replacing (the seal to the condenser unit rather than the whole unit!) saving me £540!
And the replaced seal has corrected the leak perfectly. Thank you Gogo!

I have had a few dealings with this company and I cannot fault their workmanship. Unlike many Gas Certified plumbers, they do not extort their customers. While they are further afield, they do travel. Dave was very helpful and polite. I will be using this company whenever in need going forward. 👍
I was quoted £2,995 for a boiler repair, with the explanation that water damage had rendered the unit beyond reasonable repair. For peace of mind, I sought a second opinion. Another qualified engineer quickly identified the actual fault and resolved it by replacing the heat exchanger plate at a cost of under £300. Based on this experience, I have serious concerns about the accuracy and fairness of the initial assessment, and would encourage others to exercise caution.
We sincerely apologise for the delay, which was due to the time taken to retrieve the engineer's report and to discuss the matter further.
We attended the property on 03/10/2025 due to a lack of heating and hot water. Upon arrival, the engineer found significant water leakage from the boiler, with the incoming mains supply to the boiler turned off. There was extensive internal water spray within the boiler. The engineer diagnosed the issue as a faulty plate heat exchanger, which would incur a charge of £350 for supply and fitting. Due to the extent of water damage and potential damage to the printed circuit board and other components, a full diagnosis and repair estimate could not be provided at that time. We estimate that repairs could total an additional £350-£400.
The engineers were instructed to leave a price list for your consideration, which includes a range of boiler options starting from £2050 for supply and installation, with a 7-year parts and labour warranty. Regrettably, in this instance, the engineer provided a quote for a high-end Vaillant boiler with a 15-year warranty, priced at £2995. We also sent you an email with the full price list for your review.
We apologise sincerely for any confusion or misunderstanding. It was not our intention to mislead, and the engineer should have provided a repair estimate and discussed the options with you. We are truly sorry that we did not meet your expectations on this occasion.

Avoid gogo Boiler – Feels Like a Scam!

I'm not here to create a story — just to share my real experience and help others make informed decisions. After Gogo Boiler worked on my boiler, it stopped working again 2 hours after he left and showed the same F28 code and as I mentioned below the 2nd gas enginier fixed it properly withouth asking to change valves or boyler or anything that gogoboyler recomended to do in their report. The problem was far away from the things they listed in their report.
A few weeks ago, I contacted Gogo Boiler for a service appointment. They scheduled a technician for the next morning, which seemed great at first. However, from the very beginning, something felt off—they specifically asked in the shop if my partner would be home, even though I had already mentioned it would just be me and my baby.
When the technician arrived, he spent about 30-40 minutes in my kitchen checking my boiler Then, he handed me a report stating that my boiler had valve issues. Instead of suggesting a simple valve replacement, he insisted that the entire system needed to be replaced for £500. But then, he quickly pivoted to recommending a brand new boiler, claiming mine was 10 years old and beyond repair. He offered two replacement options—one costing nearly £2,700 and another around £2,100.
Something didn’t sit right, so I checked the original purchase receipt of the boiler. Turns out it was 7 years old not 10. This raised serious concerns, so my partner and I decided to get a second opinion from another professional.
Here’s where it gets interesting: the second technician quickly identified that the boiler itself was completely fine—the real issue was low gas pressure. He called an emergency gas service, and they fixed the gas inflow. In the end, we only had to pay for the service call—nowhere near the thousands of pounds Gogo Boiler tried to push on us.
To make matters worse, after gogo Boiler’s visit, they kept contacting me—not to discuss repairing the valve but to pressure me into financing a new boiler through them. They never mentioned the actual issue, only reinforcing their sales pitch.
Adding insult to injury, I researched the boiler model they recommended—it was meant for a much larger property than my small two-bedroom flat.
I strongly believe this company tries to scare customers into unnecessary, costly replacements instead of properly diagnosing issues. Their approach felt dishonest, and I would not trust them.
I do NOT recommend Gogo Boiler. If you suspect boiler issues, get a second opinion before paying for any expensive replacements!

1 - Engineer Visit: You booked an engineer due to an F28 fault code indicating a lack of heating and hot water. We have a copy of the engineer's report, which you also received. During his visit, the engineer reset the fault and tested the incoming gas pressure, after which the boiler restored heating and hot water functionality. The F28 fault code typically points to a potential gas valve issue or gas supply problem. As noted in the report, the engineer advised that the issue might reoccur and recommended replacing the gas valve for £480.00 + VAT.
2 - Boiler Age Confirmation: The serial number on your boiler (21163800&****) indicates that the unit is 9 years old. We confirmed this with Vaillant, the manufacturer. Given the age of the boiler and the suggested repair costs, we recommend considering a replacement, which would come with a warranty for peace of mind.
3 - Replacement Options: The existing boiler is a Vaillant Pro 24 kW model. The suggested replacement options include the Vaillant Pure 25 kilowatt model with a 10-year warranty, fully installed with a filter and control for £2,700 including VAT, or the Glow-worm compact model with a 5-year warranty for £2,100 including VAT. This information is detailed in the engineer's report, which reflects accurate pricing rather than inflated or oversized estimates. The visit from the engineer was charged at £78.00 including VAT.
Regarding your point about asking if your partner would be home, this would never be asked. Please be assured that our engineers typically contact customers en route to the appointment. Also, we did not suggest that your boiler was beyond repair since we provided a repair quote.
Please note that the engineer the boiler was left operational after the visit, which raises the question of why a second opinion was sought. Should there have been an incorrect diagnosis, you would not have been charged, and it is also worth noting that SGN would address any issues at the gas meter at no additional charge.

I woke up on a Saturday morning to find my heating and hot water not working. I checked my boiler and found it had an error code that a restart didn't fix. I called round a few boiler repair places and left messages asking for a call back.
Go go called back within the hour, I was on a bus so couldn't answer their questions about my boiler, we agreed they'd call me back in a hour when I'd be at home.
Their friendly engineer called me back at the promised time. They then asked a series of questions to establish the problem, carefully instructing me on how to check my boiler. They diagnosed the problem as a blocked drain preventing the condensation from the boiler draining off. This turned out to be spot on. The fact they took the time to help me over the phone, without charging me for a call out was really appreciated.
I highly recommend them as a skilled and honest business.
