Gilt canceled my orders and held my money without notice
Extremely frustrating experience. I previously placed an order using Zip and had the full amount authorized. Somehow, Gilt later released/refunded those funds and only charged me for part of the order, despite shipping the entire order. I received no notification that there was a payment issue or outstanding balance, so I had no idea anything was wrong.
Gilt then placed a hold on my account. Despite that hold, they continued allowing me to place new orders and authorize hundreds of dollars, only to cancel the entire orders—including unrelated items—without notifying me. I only discovered the cancellations by checking my order history, and my funds still haven’t been released.
To make matters worse, getting through to an actual customer service representative was a nightmare. The live chat kept routing me to a bot, making it unnecessarily difficult to even find out why my orders were being canceled.
I would have happily resolved the original balance had Gilt simply notified me. Instead, their own payment-processing and communication failures resulted in an invisible account restriction, multiple canceled orders, and my money being tied up. A completely avoidable mess and a serious loss of trust in Gilt.

Gilt sent me the wrong TOD's shoes and wrong size. I immediately reported the error and returned exactly what they sent me using their authorized return process. I have proof of return and all correspondence. Gilt received my return but refused my refund.

Such Disrespect!! I ordered an item, and they sent me something completely different. When i reached out to them, they decided to refund and did not make any effort to replace the item. If i wanted my money back, i wouldn't have bought the item in the first place. What common sense will do will be, to reach out to the customer informing them the item is out of stock but rather they sent me something completely different, i felt very humiliated and insulted. if you order a pair of shoes that must be returned the experience will cost you nearly $24. shipping to you, $11.90, return label, another $11.90. It's outrageous to pay that much for the privilege of trying on a pair of shoes. Lesson learned.

Fake luxury watches. They do not validate authenticity or there "partners" bought a luxury watch for over $1K that they could not validate even though that is Gilt’s brand guarantee. Total frauds. They are selling fakes at high prices. Stay away!

I've been a loyal Gilt customer for years and never had an issue until now. I ordered a pair of **Gucci Women's GG1326S 58mm Sunglasses**, and they were delivered to my home by FedEx. Within minutes of the delivery, a porch pirate stole the package right off my porch.
The entire incident was caught on my home security camera, and I immediately filed a police report. Despite providing this information and explaining the situation to Gilt, they refused to replace the item or reimburse my money.
What makes this even more frustrating is that the theft happened almost immediately after the FedEx delivery, which raises serious concerns about how the package was handled and whether there may have been some kind of setup. After years of shopping with Gilt, I never expected to be left completely unsupported when something like this happened.
It has now been over **90 days**, and I'm still without the sunglasses or my money. Loyal customers deserve better support, especially when there is clear evidence of theft and a police report filed. Very disappointed with how Gilt handled this situation.
