Great communication and professional service from beginning to end. I had various issues around the house that I couldn't fix myself. Mikey explained what work he would do for each issue and kept me updated as work progressed. The end results look great and the work was done for a fair price. I would highly recommend New Orleans Handyman!

We were very pleased with our first experience working with New Orleans Handyman, who repaired a broken door and hinge. The 2 techs arrived as scheduled, completed the repair quickly and correctly, were friendly, and made a good impression overall. I am planning to send them a description of another bigger job, and ask for a quote .We have been looking for a Handyman that we can trust and build a good relationship with and who can work with us on a number of projects around our house, and other properties.. I think we are off to a very good start!

Mikey was very friendly, courteous and professional -- he couldn't fix my window, but did manage to lock it (very helpful in of itself) and didn't charge me for the visit. Will definitely call on them again. Thank you Mikey!

Wooden Fence Gate adjustment and repair. I hired this handyman service to change the swing of my driveway gate from outward to inward. This was done. Also to add a middle hinge on each side. This was also done. However, the hinges were not lined up properly, thus causing the lower left hinge to break just after a week of install. The right lower is also bending, and that could break anytime. The top left hinge was installed crooked. Mickey and another guy were the handymen. I have a 60 day guarantee, however I do not have confidence that they will be able to fix the gate properly. I have negotiated with Home Depot's fence contractor to get it professionally done. I have reached out to Jeremy by email, but have not heard back from him yet. I am dissapointed, that I spent money to get it repaired, only to have now to hire another contractor to fix it correctly. I did advise them to bring a bottle jack. They never did. That would have held the gate up, so that the hinges would easily be installed, and lined up properly. My advice is that you can hire them to do other odd jobs, but do not hire them to install hinges on your fence gate!

I hired these guys to do some work for me 600 miles from my home office. They were very responsive, communicated with me and my customer on a very professional level, and did an excellent job with the work. I would recommend them for any of your handyman needs!

They did a great time in a timely manner

The phrase seamless experience is rarely associated with home repairs. But, that was certainly the case with New Orleans Handyman. Quick response, scheduling was very easy. My technician (Mike) was courteous, professional and knowledgeable. He even offered long term solutions to the repairs requested. He went over and above with assistance. Everything was completed in a timely fashion, and the best part about it was EVERYTHING WAS COMPLETED. The efficiency alone is top notch. Please consider me a long time customer. I would highly recommend.

Replacing doors in a home built in the 1800s can be very challenging, however, there were certain aspects of the service that I was quoted on that were not provided: -They did not remove the debris from the property. -The workers did not want to paint the door which I was quoted on receiving. -The workers did not have the lumber needed to install the door so I let them use some of mine. -They did not install flashing on the exterior side of the door which will require me to install it to prevent water from getting into the home. I specifically addressed the painting and flashing issues and they gave me $50 off the job but based on the quality of their work up to that point I figured it was going to be easier for me to do it myself correctly than to redo their paint job. The door does function well now but I still have several more hours of work to do to finish the job.

Fair pricing, prompt service, and great work. Everything you would want in a contractor. Highly recommended.

Loved working with Jeremy and his crew! They are super friendly and helpful. All around a great company and I will definitely be using them in the future.

The crew did a great job putting up my exterior shutters that were handmade and thus needed extra attention to detail. They helped me trouble shoot issues and the results look wonderful. They are professional, attentive, they work clean and are affordable. I will be using them again in the future.
