A hidden gem located in the best part of the beach. Service was great, food was absolutely amazing (except the Buddah Bowl - that one can definitely improve and was not a fair representation of the other great things on the menu). We stayed 2 nights and the rest up the beach, but hung out att ecolodge everyday free of extra charge if sun beds. 10/10!
Ce lodge a tout pour avoir 5 étoiles, un emplacement incroyable, de bonnes infrastructures, un restaurant vraiment bon avec beaucoup de choix, un bon service. Cependant, les chambres et la gestion du séjour a été très mauvais. Un des lits était rempli de cafards (dans les moustiquaires et les draps), y compris la chambre elle même, nous n'avons pas eu d'eau chaude pendant 4 jours malgré l'avoir répeté plusieurs fois à l'accueil, on nous a assigné la mauvaise chambre le premier jour, etc.
Vraiment dommage car un endroit vraiment top à la base... Enfin, l'accueil a refusé de remplir nos bouteilles d'eau à notre départ pour notre voyage alors que nous avons passé 4 jours ici.

We would also like to clarify that we have not experienced any hot water issues in our rooms during this period, and no guest was assigned a different room from the one originally booked.

Madafoos the best place
Most delicious Korean chicken I've had. Thumbs up to the chef. Great service by Ali. Gitonga made us feel so at home.
They have a beautiful seaside restaurant setup that blends right into landscape. We didn't stay at the hotel, but spent the whole day enjoying the restaurant's great food and beachside lounging.

A wonderful time spent at Galu eco lodge. The food and service is excellent and the views are amazing. They have so many options for seating and being able to enjoy the stunning surroundings. We have been coming for breakfast every day walking up the beach and spending the morning reading and working. It’s a very relaxed atmosphere where you can relax, read, work, swim. I would 100% reccomend a visit as you won’t be disappointed
This place is pure beauty. I stayed in the Beach Bungalow with my mom and granny. Waking up to the ocean view every morning felt magical. We were literally steps from the water, and the whole place has this peaceful, barefoot-luxury vibe.
The staff were so so kind, so warm, so attentive, always smiling - it didn’t feel like forced hospitality at all, they just genuinely seemed to be happy to be there…
And the FOOD, it’s UNREAL. There are so many great options on the menu, and everything we tried was packed with flavor. The dishes are creative, perfectly balanced, and even the presentation was stunning. We had so many plans to go to all the different restaurants around the area but at the end we always decided to eat there.
Everything about this place was perfect for us. We had a beautiful time there and will definitely go back.
