I can’t say enough good things about James and his law clerk, Kelly. They made the entire process so much less stressful. James was absolutely fantastic. He was knowledgeable, honest, straightforward, and always had my best interests at heart. I asked Mr. Galbraith to assist me in my marriage seperation that was not a "cut and dry" scenario. This process has been going in for approximately ten months. Mr. Galbraith and his team have handled this process with professionalism, respect and timely interaction with myself and the legal team representing my former spouse. I am very happy to say that the process has finally been completed with a mutual beneficial result for both parties!!! Legalities were "grey" within this process but all T's were crossed and I's dotted within the boundaries of the law with much attention to detail to ensure that BOTH parties were satisfied with the intent and result of the seperation. I would recommend Glabraith Family Law to anyone seeking professional legal counsel during this most difficult time of our lives.

I was assigned Gagan and Michele and they were both exceptional in what I would consider a bit complicated custody case. 5/5 would most definitely recommend. The support staff however is a complete zero, at the end of my case they asked that I top up the retainer which is $7000, they had not provided me a bill of what was already billed out from my previous top up, of which I refused and asked for my final bill, it took weeks to produce the bill however like clock work they would ask for 7000 retainer refill and would not provide the bill. When they finally provided the bill it was less than 700. I paid upon sight. Fast forward to a few months after I called them 7 times over several different month asking for an itemized bill for the amount that was allotted to the child support aspect of my case or a letter of attestation saying the specific amount that went to child support for tax purposes , at the end of every call the reception would promise that someone from accounting would reach out… that’s since February now is August and nothing.

ZERO STARS Do not use Gagan!!! He works with the other side for real estate deals allegedly! Confirmed .......Would not recommend. Worked with the real estate lawyer on the other side....he is a real estate lawyer.

I worked with Galbraith at the lowest point in my life. Entering the Family Law universe can be overwhelming and intimidating. I was so fortunate to have met and worked directly with Harrison Notkin. He was a calm, reassuring presence at a time when nothing else felt calm. Harrison was driven to reach resolution through collaboration while minimizing the effects and trauma of navigating family court. He ensured I was aware of my rights and did everything to ensure a positive and safe outcome for my children and I. In the few instances we were before a judge it became clear that his professional demeanour was appreciated and respected. While opposing counsel would be scolded for going off course or personal attacks, Harrison was consistently reasonable and focused solely on the children and the law. The judges seemed to respond to him and assign him greater credibility. I would refer anyone I cared about to Harrison Notkin as he truly is one of a kind and so very skilled at what he does.
