I am reviewing on behalf of TD EXTERIOR CLEANING COMPANY LIMITED who purchased a Fiat Ducato 2015 van in early June 2024. It had been very difficult to source a semiautomatic van with the requirements that our Company needed to accommodate. We found this Company on CarGurus and their website had a very good range of vans to choose from. They always answered our phone queries quickly. The van chosen was of a very high standard and specification. It had a full year’s MOT; full Service History; one owner from new. They give a free 3 month Warranty with the option to purchase an Extended Warranty (a good deal was offered of this too). Due to our busy schedule, we were unable to view the van before purchasing, so we more or less bought it blind. However, the Company offer to deliver vehicles directly which was also available on a very good deal. As in life, nothing is ever free from hiccups, so the arrival date changed a few times, either due to our schedule or the Company and their needing to get the vehicle ready for delivery. Once it arrived, it was nicely detailed and included racking, a microwave, a safe, a heater and a hot water boiling facility which was quite unexpected. If there were any problems, Gavin and his Team dealt with them in a professional and honest manner. We would definitely recommend them and purchase from them again.

My partner recently purchased a van and was more than satisfied. Over the moon to be precise Maggie and Joe were very professional and really friendly. A lovely environment. An excellent dealership that doesn’t disappoint. Will definitely recommend to family and frequent Thanks!

AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE. Purchased a van from these in January. With full service history and brand new M.o.T. After driving for a very short period I heard clanging noise from the front suspension. I took it to a competent mechanic and he diagnosed that both front top mounts showed signs of failing which should have picked up on the M.o.T. I reported this to GL Commercials and they claimed that they would only pay for half of the repairs which Is absolutely disgusting customer service. Another fault that the M.o.T should have picked up on was a major leak of power steering fluid coming from the cooler, now the fluid was at full capacity when I received it meaning it was topped up and not investigated. And also a week ago, the engine management light came on, after running the code reader through it and a little investigation it was revealed that the oil was so low it took 2.5ltrs to top it up. I would also add that I've noticed certain trim panels were damaged, one part that looks like it was swapped to improve the appearance of that vehicle, but only a guess. It also has dents in the roof To sum up these people don't care about the safety of their customers. Luckily, as an ex mechanic, I can take care of these things myself but a lot of people would not and also possibly put their lives at risk by driving vehicles with fraudulent M.o.Ts and false service history. If I didn't desperately need this for daily use they would have it back but it's just easier for me to repair it as I will then know the job has been done properly.

Needed a new van to replace my ageing vivaro , saw the add and rang up , van wasn’t in yet but was given assurance of its condition so paid deposit . I wasn’t disappointed when I collected , van was as described, had new mot , service and all new brakes along with a valet . Maggie was most helpful throughout and promised to send the spare key in the post when it arrived with her and as promised it arrived a few days later . Great service , from what I’ve seen they only stock good, clean vans . Will use again

I recently contacted gl to see if I could buy a van, they said they would call me back that was over two weeks ago. I still haven't heard anything so I shall look elsewhere and never enquire again waste of a call.

Excellent service from start to finish. Trusted their word in respect of condition of van. Paid deposit then went to view a few days later. I was not disappointed. Been driving around for a week and I have to say very pleased. Came with quarter tank of fuel and full valet and warranty. Promise of second key through the post which arrived today. I must say I wasn't really expecting that. Very friendly, well done Gavin and Joe. You will see me for our next van.

I thought I’d share an honest and my experience with GL Commercials. So a few weeks back I was looking for a particular type of Renault Trafic van and came across this company that had one advertised. After calling up and speaking with Maggie, a deal was struck and deposit paid, baring in mind I was 3hour drive away and I hadn’t even seen the van in person. Maggie kindly FaceTimed me and walk around the van showing condition, any marks, a virtual look around the van. We then chatted again and after a cracking deal was made I awaited news on when the van would be delivered? A week went by and I didn’t hear a thing, which I then called and after receiving a text saying they were closed that week, I was a little worried as to what was going on? A few days went past and I had a phone call from Gavin telling me I had a delivery date, when I told him about the text I received he apologised for the miss communication and we agreed a delivery date. The van was delivered, driver was courteous and haded van over with no issues, after driving it a couple days I found a few little problems and made a note and called Maggie with what issues I had, she made some phone calls and I agreed to drive the van back for issues to be sorted. I drove the 3 hours and after I dropped van back, I was given a lift into the local town where I could have some food and keep myself busy while the van was sorted. After a few hours I had a call saying it was ready, I was collected and taken back to GL, I have to say, the service I had has been brilliant and although the van has a couple minor issues which have been fully rectified and sorted I can’t speak highly enough for the them, service and effort they went to to give me exactly what I wanted and requested. I have also had a follow up phone call from Maggie just making sure things have been sorted and I am happy with everything? Well I most certainly am. After an exhausting search online for a suitable van for my business I found GL Commercials (on google) which is more local to me, they had many vans that I was interested in and thanks to the very helpful (and not pushy) staff I was able to find just what I was looking for. I found all the staff friendly and the atmosphere in the sales office was calm and relaxed I did not feel under pressure to make an immediate decision. There were a couple of minor defects with the van, however these were dealt with promptly by the after sales team. I am very happy with the service (and the van) I received and would certainly recommend this company to anyone looking for a van.

It was good the boss Steve got the spare tyre asp to me just V11 form had some wording on and the office lady would not part exchange my car for van had to paid full price 😮
