I purchased a full set - two tatami, double eucalyptus shikibuton and cover, organic latex pillow, wool comforter, flannel sheets. Took four weeks to arrive including layover at shipping facility. I was concerned shipper would leave everything curbside as other reviewers had noted, but they were kind enough to bring the shipment into the lobby. Tatami are heavy but stay out on hardwood floor… all worries about getting the right bed melted away after first sleep. Thank you!

I deeply regret getting the “premium latex futon”. I tried to make it work since January of this year so almost 6 months but I’m waking up every night many times tossing and turning in discomfort. My shoulders and lats are sore every night and I can’t get a restful sleep. I decided to buy a 4 inch mattress topper which has helped with the soreness but I’m still experiencing my shoulders and lats being extremely sore while sleeping on my sides or on my stomach. I feel like I completely wasted my money and for anybody thinking about buying the premium latex futon if you’re a side sleeper or stomach sleeper I highly advise against it. I’m eventually going to need to buy a new mattress and have no idea what to do with this one.

Nous sommes allés voir les futons et leurs prix. Trouver un stationnement est très difficile en raison de la fermeture de la rue St Denis. Les futons étaient magnifiques, mais un peu chers. Personnel accueillant.

Bonjour, il est vraiment dommage de nous attribuer une note basée sur un festival qui se déroulait ce weekend.

Montréal peut parfois offrir de beaux défis de stationnement, nous sommes désolés si cela vous a causé des inconvénients.

Never Again I bought the buckwheat pillow. The cover is terrible. It’s feels burlap!!!! It’s very rough on my face. Because of the size….12X24 you can’t just go out and buy a cover that fits. You’re stuck with what this company offers! I would give this zero stars if I could.

Nous avons un problème avec une base de futon qui s’est brisé rapidement. L’accueil a été glacial malgré notre approche courtoise. On nous a proposé du bout des lèvres d’acheter un nouveau mécanisme à 130.00 + tx pour le réparer nous même. On a reconnu que ces bases à près de 1000.00$ sont souvent défectueuses. Aucun mot d’excuse pour les inconvénients. Expérience très pénible avec la préposée que nous avions l’impression de déranger.

Concernant votre achat, celui-ci remontant à plus de cinq ans, la base n'est plus couverte par la garantie initiale du fabricant. Toutefois, nous avons réussi à nous procurer les mécanismes nécessaires pour dépanner nos anciens clients. Par contre, ces pièces de remplacement sont facturables ainsi que le service d'installation du livreur (celles-ci sont relativement faciles à installer). Cordialement

I bought twin size futon and tatami mat from them. The quality of the mattress is amazing and the tatami mat is sturdy as well. iv been using it ever since and no problems what so ever. I ordered the boreal tatami mats queen size, they are beautiful. The smell? I am very sensitive to smells and was worried for the first week about thinking it was too profuse. Especially the first smell out of the box was quite strong and off putting to me. After a solid 4 weeks of sleeping on them, the smell does not bother me at all as it is quite a pleasant now. When the room is closed, the smell is stronger, but not in a bad way, the way it was when first unpackaged. The bedding we got is from somewhere else. Thank you futon d’or for the wonderful authentic tatami mats!

I ordered a mattress and cover online, was told it would take 4 to 6 weeks for delivery. There was a bit of a delay but when I contacted the company by email, they answered right away and reassured me of the delivery of my mattress. Very comfortable mattress, was really worth the price. I would highly recommend Futon d’Or.

Très satisfait du matelas futon latex premium, le confort est incroyable! Par contre plutôt déçu par la base de futon Chambly. Le bois de pin non vernis est très mou et s'abime facilement. Le montage était TRÈS laborieux et j'ai égratigné le bois à plusieurs endroits en le montant seul, comme indiqué dans les instructions. Il aurait fallu au minimum 2 personnes et des avertissements à l'étape pouvant endommager le bois (montage final). Avoir su j'aurais choisi un modèle avec meilleure finission.
