I enjoyed my sessions with Agnès. I requested an informal and unstructured format, and we were easily able to spend the hour talking. My goal was to maintain fluency with a native speaker as I don’t have much occasion to speak French where I live. The notes she sent after each session essentially became my own personal dictionary. Agnès is very flexible and easily adapts to her clients’ needs.

I am so glad I found Agnes and was able to work with her! I needed lesson to polish up my French and practice speaking in a professional setting. Agnes responded super quickly to my last minute request and the sign up process was super smooth.
The classes were so great, Agnes makes the plan specific to you, your level, and your needs. I was able to practice different skills and figure out what I needed to work on. She also gave helpful homework which allowed me to practice more.
Agnes is a great teacher! She is patient, super nice and creates an environment where you feel comfortable making mistakes (which is inevitable!). She also answered all of my questions and clarified any confusion. I was able to improve on my vocab, spelling, and speaking. I now feel much more confident in my ability to use French in a professional setting. I look forward to working with Agnes again!

I can highly recommend taking French courses with Agnes. I have done it for 1 year, and made a lot of progress. At present, I had to stop because of work- and travel commitments, but will continue in 2024.

Agnes is a wonderful teacher! She took the time to ensure I had concepts memorised and was patient when I had a hard time understanding the material. After 6 weeks of lessons, my understanding of the language has increased dramatically and conversation has become much easier in French. I look forward to working with her again in the future!

I am so glad to have found Agnes! She coached me for a test and was very knowledgeable about what the test required and also very patient with going over and over the questions and answers in French. Currently, she's my much-needed French teacher -- I'd been trying to teach myself without a lot of success -- and now I'm learning a lot and speaking a lot during the lessons. Her manner is encouraging, she knows what I need to work on, and her lessons are entertaining. She's an excellent teacher.

I took French in high school for many years and a lot of things still did not make sense to me. When I decided to move to Paris for school, I knew I needed a tutor. Agnes has provided me with very good classes, that are super easy to understand and which I still remember daily. Her classes are a good mix of conversation and learning all of the basics. What I enjoyed is that she doesn’t just teach you formal French, but also some slang which will help you make French friends and talk more conversationally.

I've been taking lessons online with Agnes for over a year now - I absolutely love it! I suddenly had a desire to study French and searched online for a tutor suitable for beginners. I am so happy to have found Agnes. Within a few months I was already starting to hold conversations with ease and I'm continuing to improve with each lesson. I love that Agnes is patient, kind, and adapts the lessons to your specific needs; she also emphasizes conversation practice which is really important to me. She helps you learn to express yourself and bring your personality through the language which makes the process of learning so much more fun. I will take lessons with her forever if I can lol. I have taken multiple courses with Agnes now and my partner (who is French) has been really happy with my progression! Starting from a place where I had many gaps in my grammar and vocabulary and not much confidence in speaking, I have now passed the DELF A2 and am currently working toward B1. She is extremely patient when I get things wrong and adapts the lessons to the various areas I may want to concentrate on. I plan to continue with her and would definitely recommend!

I’ve been having lessons with Agnes for about 6 months and as an American living in Paris (with basic conversational skills) she’s really helped my understanding of the language. The curriculum is exactly what I needed. She’s very kind and works at my pace, reviewing anything I may need until I feel comfortable and ready to progress. I highly recommend working with Agnes, no matter what stage you’re at in your French practice!

I appreciate how Agnes was open to tailoring our learning plan to my goals, but also had a very organized and thoughtful system for expanding my grammatical sense and vocabulary. She also had great balance between patiently allowing me to learn by experimenting but also interjecting with timely pronunciation / grammatical / cultural context. And she was very easy to schedule lessons with. She has a busy schedule, but she was very reliable and responsive in helping setting up a lesson schedule. Also, I did all my lessons on video and her approach there is wonderful as well. Agnes is a nice person and a great teacher, so highly recommend.
