Food is good - kabobs, rice, and mantu are quite delicious here compared to other Afghan restaurants and freshly prepared. Service is solid - staff is always checking on you to see if you need anything. Restaurant is very nice and clean inside and they pay attention to detail on ambiance so it's a good place to take guests. They have regular tables and also Afghan style floor seating (skip the floor if you have back problems and want to dine in comfort lol). Portion sizes are a bit on the smaller side so keep that in mind when ordering for your group.

Our table water is sourced from highly filtrated systems we use in our restaurants. We also offer other bottled drinks for purchase. I recently visited Fremont Kabob Restaurant with a friend who had recommended the place. It was my first time there, and I was looking forward to trying it based on his experience.
Unfortunately, the service completely ruined the visit.
After we arrived, a gentleman kindly seated us, set up the table, and brought us water. However, beyond that, we received no service. The front staff member appeared to be available but did not acknowledge us, offer a greeting, or check in at all.
We waited about 20 minutes, during which we were left unattended. We ate some of the bread provided, but eventually it became clear that we were being completely overlooked. At that point, we decided to leave and go to another Afghan restaurant instead.
I’ve rarely experienced this level of inattentiveness at a restaurant. Being ignored for that long without even a basic acknowledgment is unprofessional and, quite frankly, rude.
Really disappointing experience, especially given the recommendation.

This spot is seriously amazing! We tried the Sultani Combination Kabobs (chicken, lamb, and beef over rice), Lamb Curry (lamb shank over rice), Bolani, and Qabili Palau (lamb shank over traditional rice) and everything was straight up amazing.
The Bolani is HUGE and super good with the yogurt, and the lamb was fall off the bone tender. Plus, they hook you up with fresh bread and spicy sauces, which hit every time.
The vibe is really cool like a traditional Afghan seating that makes the whole experience feel different in a good way.
We love coming here. Definitely a go to spot if you’re craving legit Afghan food.

I watched Hafiz Mohammadi’s TV program about Fremont Kabab, which made us drive nearly an hour to try this place. Unfortunately, it turned out to be a complete disappointment. The food was nothing like what was shown or described on the menu—very poor quality and not worth the time or money.
We informed the waiter about the issues, but it didn’t make any difference. Honestly, if they expect customers to return, they seriously need to improve their food and overall standards. Based on my experience, I strongly advise people not to waste their time going there.

I visited Fremont Kabob expecting a pleasant dinner with my family; however, the experience was disappointing. The portion sizes were significantly smaller than those at comparable restaurants. When I raised this concern, I was told that the portion was sufficient since “other families share the same portion,” which did not address the issue.
Additionally, we waited approximately 30 minutes for our food, and a gratuity was added to the bill without clear notice. I do not usually leave negative reviews, but this was one of my worst dining experiences.

Pick our order from the restaurant , asked them to put brown rice and they gave us white rice and the lamb kabob is hella dry while we told them to make it juicy . I guess they don’t care about the customers .
