Terrible experience at this shop! I enquired about hybrid flooring and specifically asked about getting a smoother finish. The salesperson's response was laughable - 'just install it and use sandpaper on it'?! Not only was this unhelpful, but the smirking and laughing behind my back was unprofessional and embarrassing. Made me feel like I was wasting their time. If they can't take customer concerns seriously and provide proper guidance, I'd advise others to look elsewhere. 1/5 stars"

Allow me to apologies as it was I who served you and I certainly meant no malice. I feel my point was lost in translation as I was trying to explain that the flooring you were looking for does not exist as it would be extremely slippery and dangerous if the surface were wet. I was making a slight joke about sanding the floor as the only way you would remove the texture. I did not literally suggest that you purchase new flooring and attack it with sandpaper. I would be keen to assist you with your new flooring in the hope I can turn your experience into a more pleasant one.

From the get go, our interaction with Steve has been phenomenal. All questions and queries were handled amazingly, he was patient and very helpful. A mistake was made from the supplier and he went above and beyond to help rectify the situation. I would absolutely recommend this business and Steve. Best customer service and product is beautiful. 100% would recommend.

Could not fault these guys! Pete was excellent to deal with from start to finish. We had delays and set backs with the reno, cut costs so changed flooring and had various quotes. He was super patient and helpful. The installer was an absolute gem! Highest of attention to detail (our house was challenging as various walls not square and a lot of steps). I am building through WA building company who used to use a different flooring company until they decided they found that builder difficult and changed to flooring Xtra. I was told sorry the floors you had previously chose you CANT have which I was annoyed about now I had to make a whole new selection at flooring Xtra so we thought okay take days of work to sort this out pick better stuff and max out our allowance. We loved the stuff we picked it was great and the guy was okay too. Come to 6 months later when they are putting the floors in my house I go up there to sneek a peek because WA building company is so bad with correspondence and transparence to fint the first flooring company installed there floors. Then I get gas lit from the builders saying no idea what you mean, we still had this contact for yours until me sending them that I did everything they required even loading pay to pick new floors. Then get told after letting them know I would attend and reselect that I should have let them know once I left that I had selected the floors when what is flooring Xtra doing?? Not telling them "hey they picked and this is the selection" Then I find out after my own investigating and ringing around which is a joke in its self that flooring Xtra forgot to send the paper work off that we had signed and our selections! I then complain and everyone says it's no one's fault some how it's mine which how?? Then flooring Xtra finally say my bad it was us we forgot to send it off I'll see if we can quote you the flooring at cost. AT COST?? I TOOK 2 DAYS OFF WITH MY PARTNER!! No sorry nothing just "To much double handling" You just cost me time of work, I could have had better quality got excited for nothing. Don't waste your time and not only this the guy never even calls me back with a solution or anything even after promising me be would call me back. The first calls I had to call them 5 times all with the promise we will call you back!! Stay away from this company and WA building company, both just as bad as each other!

The customer service is very bad, takes forever for them to respond back after even chasing them multiple times. Can not even expect to have response to the emails back either. Never seen such poor customer service elsewhere.

Worst customer service experience, lied about material delivery, timelines, communication with the installer and left unfinished work. Only good comms when they want the first payment. Go elswhere they are a pain.

I can not recommend Sandi and Aaron from Flooring Xtra Osborne Park enough. Their customer service was impeccable and the installation and final result was just an amazing transformation. Thank you Sandi & Aaron.

The quote was for over twice the amount (close to three times the amount) of the company we ended up going with (for the exact same product). They wouldn’t book installation. Basically if you don’t want someone’s business you should say so. Complete waste of our time. We would give 0 stars if it was possible.

Been waiting 4 plus months for a refund that I have had to chase with dozens of emails and phone messages to both the store owner Tristan and State Manager Catherine... With little to no response. Have only had a 3rd refunded and they have already missed the next agreed installment date, with no response or explanation. I also had massive communication issues trying to get an initial install date organised despite being fully paid (nearly $30k over two orders). Try an alternative branch or a different business altogether if you wish to avoid the same issues as you cannot trust this store.

Thank you to Tristan and the team at flooring xtra osborne park! They installed my flooring in my investment property in WA last week and did such a good job. Can't fault them. Tristan helped me from beginning to end, I think we were on the phone 3 to 4 times a day as I am in QLD and needed help choosing. The place looks unrecognisable and the new tenants love it. I'll be coming back for my other property in a few months.

This is the worst interaction I had with a business in my life. Fraudulent business operator. I ordered flooring at the beginning of Nov 2023 and was advised I would arrive in 3 weeks time. I also paid for the product so there would be no delays. At the beginning of Dec I started reaching out asking for a eta or update. Tristan the manager/ owner kept giving me fake eta or just saying there's are none. By the mid to end of Dec 2023 I asked for a refund and then he started to stop answering the phone or calling back or replying to my emails. I lodged a complaint with consumers affairs and he refused to speak to me or refund me my money. Luckily I paid for the purchase with a Visa card and was able to dispute the transaction and get a refund if I had paid cash or via bank deposit I would of had to go to court to get my money back for a product or service he never supplied. Stay as far away as possible from this fraudulent business.

Hello Christoph, thank you for your review and I apologise for your experience. As discussed with the bank when they called to dispute the credit card charge for the product, we had issues with the manufacturer sending the incorrect colour for your order but your partner mentioned you really needed it prior to Xmas as you were planning the exciting journey of installing the flooring yourselves over your time off.

When I called your partner I asked 'If I can get the stock here before xmas, are you happy to still proceed with the order?' She said yes, so I quickly re-ordered the stock and paid a fee to the supplier for express freight.

When I called 2 days later as I was away from work unwell to advise the stock was well on its way and would arrive in perfect time, I was advised that you no longer want it. Unfortunately the stock was days away from arriving so I was unable to cancel it at that stage. I hoped when it came in I could call you to advise and that you would reconsider picking it up, had you been adamant, a refund would have been issued no questions asked.

The stock still remains in our warehouse, but shortly after that call I received notification from your bank that you have disputed the transaction and that all communication should be done through them, I have adhered to this which is why you have received your refund so swiftly from them.

I must take ownership here as my fault lays in lack of communication and I aim to improve here. I am currently short staffed but have recently brought on a new team member to ensure communication is handled much better. I apologise for the stress and inconvenience this has caused but am glad the matter has been resolved through your bank.

Should you wish to discuss the matter further I am more than happy to arrange a time that suits.

The original work was carried-out efficiently by Flooring Xtra contractors. Afterwards we found some problems with the flooring that required some minor adjustments. It has taken 12 months and a complain to WA Consumer Affairs and we are still waiting. The owner of Osborne Park store told us we should deal with his sub contractor direct as its 'his problem'. This is not right as we contracted with Flooring Xtra. Now he will not talk to us.This is really disappointing given the matter should have been resolved with courtesy and efficiency. PS. I was astonished to receive a terrible and patronising reply (see below) asserting that the damaged flooring was due to a leaking dishwasher. What lies. There was never a dishwasher leak involved. Sadly, the owner now creates a fictitious story to allow them to walk away. Please don't use these people.

Thank you for your review. Apologies for any miscommunication for your daughter's water damaged floors from the dishwasher leaking. This is certainly not an issue for our installer to deal with, it may be better suited to an insurance claim from your side.

As post installation damage from a leaking dishwasher is not under warranty there is not much we can do to assist but as discussed we are happy to quote on the replacement of that area for you.

Any customers questioning this response I am more than happy to show the email trail as proof of water damage by client.

The absolute worst flooring experience ever! Almost a year on and these guys still won’t come back to finish the job! Sold the wrong product had three different installers who installed the product differently. The owner actually wants to be paid in full for a job that was never even completed. Stay away from this company!

Thank you for taking the time to leave a review but this information is incorrect. Upon checking your quote and email correspondence, you never requested the flooring to be glued down at any stage and throughout the installation process you were present many times and never mentioned the absence of glue to give us a chance to stop works, re-quote the additional amount for direct stick, and install it that way. You never requested the flooring to be glued down. We never heard any complaint from you until weeks after installation had been completed and the balance of your bill was requested.

There was some scotia which came loose after installation which we have sent our installer back to repair on the basis that the balance be paid, which you accepted, the work was done, but you never paid your balance.

We have attempted mediation via a third party but you have now attempted to take us to court, your first application stating that the floor should have been glued down, upon us providing proof that this was not the case, you have since lodged a second application stating the job was not completed to Australian Standards, which it was.

We at Flooring Xtra always strive to look after our customers and will always try to do the right thing by them.

You stated we sold you the wrong product but this was the product you confirmed in writing via email that is your selection.

Should you wish to have your floor carefully lifted and glued down at an additional cost, we are willing to help you as a sign of good will only, by offering the service at a slight discount but your balance and the new amount would need to be paid in full prior to starting works.

Aside from the above, regardless of incorrect information provided by yourself in your review, I do hope we can come to some form of resolution to ensure you are happy with your flooring. As mentioned, the offer to quote you the additional amount to have the flooring carefully removed, glued down/ re-installed is still there. We would love the opportunity to help you.
