I could not be any happier with my new flooring. It has transformed my home. My new carpet looks beautiful , is soft under foot as well as bright and uplifting.
The service experience was professional and the carpet installer a perfectionist in his trade.

Whilst my floors look heaps better than before it was not a smooth journey. Sales guy didn't order enough planks and this meant gaps in room that was done last. Too many plank cut errors which had to be repaired, and discount given for inconvenience (we had to wait 3 weeks for them to come back) was a joke. We were told they needed 4 days. Took time of work and they rushed and were done in 2 days. Asked for and never got a proper break down on costing. So overall good at selling the product, average on interactions once dotted line signed, and I definitely didn't feel like a priority when I wanted them to come back and sort out issues. Took them 3 weeks to send final invoice and then immediately questioned when payment would be made.

A factual review of events and timelines would be greatly appreciated (maybe refer to emails and confirmations from yourself). It was our pleasure to help with your request of extra product (which there was no cost to you) We were never short on product, there was a fault on some of the boards from manufacturer so we needed to order 3 only boards and replace those, hence when you requested some extra so we ordered 2 cartons free of charge for you, oh and then we added a discount off final invoice in good faith for the delay due to having to re order more product due to manufacturer fault, not due to too many cuts. You never had to wait 3 weeks for us to return, The installers arrived as organised on 13/1/25 and completed 14/1/25. You rang us and requested us to return on 17/1/25. The extra packs arrived 22nd, however you advised you were not available until the following Thursday 30/1, or Friday 31/1. Due to this, it was promptly booked for the 30th..
We sent you final invoice on day installation finished, however you said you never received it (even though same email sent to you to accept original quote), so we sent another invoice to a separate email address given to us by you.

Appalling customer service. Did not reply to my initial enquiry, but added me to their mailing list. I emailed them expressing my distaste in that and got a call the next day about the 'quote'. I proceeded to advise I had a couple quotes, but am keen to hear their contribution and the man replied by seeming very disinterested. I queried if they actually wanted to supply a quote, and he rudely replied 'well you've already got a couple quotes, how many do you want?!' I simply said not to worry, good bye and hung up the phone. He appeared to be shouting a response when I hung up. Nothing short of rude.

I’m not one to typically write a review but I feel compelled in this instance.
Flooring Xtra installed loop pile carpet in our new build house. The carpet looks great but for a very poor join in middle of the hallway. It’s an extremely unfortunate place to have ordinary workmanship as we walk over it several times a day.
To their credit, when we first raised the issue they sent an installer out to (try to) fix it with no fuss. However, the installer wasn’t able to rectify the issue and said that section of carpet needs to be replaced to fix it properly. Their product comes with a lifetime installation warranty that includes replacement so we thought we would wait a couple months to see if we could come to terms with the modest improvement the installer was able to make. We couldn’t, it just looks terrible and is all we can see when walking down the hallway. *** Note the pictures are flattering, it looks considerably worse in person***
We subsequently asked the Flooring Xtra's Warranty administrator to replace this section and the administrator is now saying that the floor was "installed to Australian standards" and can "provide a quote" for its replacement. This is in spite of already having admitted it wasn’t up to standard when they sent an installer out the first time.

Hi there Mr Nash, appreciate your feedback in relation to carpet that was installed 12 months ago through your builder.
* Firstly your contract is directly with your chosen builder, which you should be raising this with them.
* Your Builder would have informed us prior to them handing over the property to you that the join or any other issue was unacceptable, however this wasnt the case. Recent communication also from their senior management to us reiterated that they still have no issue with workmanship in relation to this matter
* The join is not poor or ordinary workmanship, your builder approved works performed, and subsequently our installations management team confirmed correct method as well.
* The join you are referring to, has to be there, due to the maximum length of carpet.
* Loop pile carpet that you have chosen can seam peak (Carpet seams are never invisible)
* Lighting conditions can also accentuate carpet seams. The above is referenced from CAL (Carpet Institute of Australia Limited).
** As suggested above, you should contact your chosen builder for matters relating to your build.
Purchased high grade supposedly hard wearing carpet in August 2023 6 weeks later matted in front of seating. Told will not do anything about and needed to have a specific type of vacuum cleaner which was not told about when purchased. I am totally disgusted with the company and wasted my money.

Absolute rubbish install, apparently had their best installer lay my flooring. Was meant to be a 1 day install, the installer did over 4 half days. Different step treads throughout the install Was than rung continuously by the installer harrasing me for payment.( install finished on a Wednesday arvo received 6 back to back calls at 6am on the Friday morning mind you i had paid on the thursday arvo) Have tried to get the store and the installer back to rectify issues yet no action. Had received a cheaper quote to complete the works but decided Na ya get what you pay for I'll pay the extra. Lol jokes pay more to be even more disappointed.
Note. You did arrange the install with your installer.

Teddy worked extremely hard to make sure our hybrid planks installation happened on the day he promised (due to lockdown). He went above and beyond for his customers, great communication.
