🚨 Public Awareness & Accountability Needed in Online Flight Bookings 🚨
Yesterday, I booked a flight ticket from Delhi to Guwahati (SpiceJet) through Skyscanner.
The booking process was completed successfully, and the payment was deducted from my bank account, which was transferred to FlightsMojo.
However, after the payment:
I did not receive clear confirmation / support
I tried contacting Skyscanner, FlightsMojo, and SpiceJet
There is no direct customer care number
Calls keep you on hold for 2–2.5 hours, and then you are simply told to “try again later”
This raises a serious concern.
Before booking, everything looks smooth and trustworthy.
But once the money is deducted, customers are left helpless, running behind companies just to get basic answers or refunds.
If this happens with one user, it may look like a small amount.
But if it happens with thousands of users daily, it can easily turn into crores of rupees, collected through small individual losses.
I request:
All airline companies
Online travel platforms
And especially the Ministry of Civil Aviation, Government of India
to investigate such practices and take strict action where required.
There must be a transparent, accountable, and customer-friendly system, so that passengers do not suffer after making legitimate payments.
This post is to raise awareness and to ensure that no other passenger faces the same situation.
Worst booking experience.
I was redirected to Flight Mojo via Skyscanner to book a flight. The payment was successfully deducted from my account, but I never received any booking confirmation, PNR, or ticket details. At this point, there is no clarity on whether my flight is actually booked.
Customer support is practically inaccessible. After waiting on hold for over 30 minutes, the call was disconnected with a message saying all agents are busy. There is no alternate channel to get support or even basic confirmation.
This lack of transparency and support is unacceptable, especially for a paid service. The experience has caused unnecessary stress and uncertainty. I strongly expect immediate confirmation of the booking or a full refund without further delay.
Would not recommend this platform based on this experience.
Pathetic customer care. 1st they ask you to wait 30 mins to connect with agent. Once you reach your turn they will disconne t the call.
Further, never pay on this site using credit card. Amount will be deducted from card, you'll receive payment success message for payment gateway but ticket will not be booked and you'll have no customer support from them
Extremely disappointing experience.
After completing the transaction, I did not receive any flight confirmation at all. When I tried calling customer support, I was met with an automated voice asking me to wait 25 minutes just to speak to someone. This is unacceptable service, especially after taking payment. A complete waste of time and money. Would not recommend this website to anyone.
