I bought a scooter from this place. The brakes failed very quickly, the build quality was poor, and I had to pay 120 CAD just for a single charge. This was my actual experience, which is why I left a low rating

As we noticed, you left a review for both, our business and another store beside us, "Wow Electric Rides" . Please note that they are a completely separate business with no connection to us whatsoever. If you purchased from us, we kindly ask that you remove your review from their page. If your purchase was from them, please reach out to them directly to resolve any issues.

That said, we’d like to clarify a few points:

1. The e-scooter brands we sell are not manufactured by us. They are internationally recognized and reputable brands from Europe, the USA, Canada, and more. We have been resellers of these brands for over five years, with consistently high customer satisfaction regarding their quality and durability.

2. Brakes are wearable parts, and their lifespan depends entirely on usage and riding/braking habits. Since we cannot find any sales records under your name, we are unsure what “soon” means in your case. Brakes do not fail suddenly unless the brake pads are completely worn out. Replacing brake pads typically costs around $20, so we are unclear why you mentioned paying $120.

To better understand and assist you, please provide details such as your receipt, date of purchase, order number (if ordered online), and the brand/model of your scooter. With this information, we can properly investigate and help resolve any issues if the purchase was indeed made with us.

I got my Son's Escooter from Amazon. All went fine for a Month and then it started giving an error code, I contacted Amazon and they told me to talk to the manufacturer directly as it was sent by them. I tried every mean of communication but did not get any reply whatsoever. Later found out that the manufacturer ships from a warehouse but doest even exists in Canada. After 2 months of running around a neighbor suggested us to go to HKP store as they service all kinds of scooters. I was overwhelmed by their service, transparency and professionalism as they fixed my scooter same day with just a $35 solution and even provided me the detail of what was wrong with the scooter (brake sensor displacement) I will not buy these things ever again online because I bought 2 scooters from them after that and they were way more economical, better quality and local support/parts are important for these kinds of purchases. I testify and highly recommend this store for electric bikes, electric scooter, mobility and kids ride not just for purchasing new but for getting them fixed and services. good job guys

I was recommended to HKP store in New Horizon Mall by a friend who bought some scooters here. I just Bought 2 Escooters and reserved one as the Fall deal is going on. I found them very professional, friendly and helpful. They answered all my questions and concerns as I did not have good experience buying these things online. Good thing that they have parts and service right here in their stores which is a big plus for me. I recommend there guys. I will be back for Mobility chair

Instead of arguing with a kid why don’t you show proof on where I was “rude” and “hostile”. You make no sense whatsoever, saying I undoubtedly showed frustration and something about being blackmailed. And I’m not making new ids to blackmail you it’s to respond to your arguments that make no sense. And you still won’t show a screenshot on where I was hostile. I saw your reply where you’re calling me rude and hostile towards your staff. I’ve always shown respect on text and especially is person. But I do admit the last time I talked to you I had a frustrated tone because this was the third time my scooter broke. And I was just mad at the fact it broke it wasn’t anything towards you. But you wanna makeup lies and call me hostile. If you’re correct show a ss of the messages where I’m rude.

And no, you did not need to make another ID to respond or reply, you could update the review like you just did. Like I said, you won't get another response from us as we have sadly but FINALLY banned you.
Reviewing with another ID with same name clearly shows your intentions. Thanks for being honest and revisiting your words. I appreciate this part. Keep posting Reviews with same ID doesn't help though. While we appreciate genuine Reviews, feedbacks and concens, we do not get black mailed at all by these Reviews at all because this is just Google and our business doesn't rely on Reviews posted by " newly made ids" just to take out your frustration as you undoubtedly always did but unfortunately we will have you banned so you will only get a response here and no where else. I hope you grow up and feel better soon.

The owner is extremely arrogant and a scammer. He charged me 250 after my scooter got ran over but he only replaced the handle bar and mount which already looked used. He told me my battery was fine but I went back to him a month later because error codes E5 and E6 would show up and not let me ride my scooter. He charged me 40 for it just for it to say the same thing two months later. And when I called him and reported the problem he started putting the blame on me and saying he regrets working on my scooter because I’m rude on texts and call, and he’ll tell his staff to not let me in the store. There’s a better store right beside him just don’t go to this guy. Instead of showing good customer service and fixing your issues he starts calling you rude and bans you from his store.

1. Scooter Condition: Your scooter was severely damaged after being run over by a car. Most shops would have refused the repair, but we took it on as a challenge. The frame was broken in two, and we replaced half of it — not just the handlebar and mount. We did this at a cost no one else would offer, because we genuinely aim to be the best at what we do.

2. Post-Repair Use: You test rode the scooter, approved the work, and used it daily for weeks without issue. We didn’t hear from you until much later.

3. Battery & Knuckle Issue: The error codes you mentioned appeared later and were linked to broken knuckles — likely from riding style or impact. We repaired them for just $40, and even waived our standard $35 assessment fee to help you out.

4. Communication: We’ve always believed in clear, respectful communication. Unfortunately, your tone in texts and calls was consistently rude and aggressive. We tried to explain things, even outside business hours, but our team was met with hostility. At a certain point, we had to draw a line — not because we don’t care, but because we value mutual respect.

We regret having to ban any customer, but we won’t compromise on dignity or tolerate abusive behavior. We genuinely hope you find a service that meets your expectations, and we wish you well.

Purchased an e-scooter from them. Great service. I had to bug the folks with a few questions after the sale and they were super kind to help me with my queries. Repair shop is another value added. Very affordable rates for repair and very fair dealing. Unlike some other service centres, if something is not fixable, they will tell you upfront rather than charging you a ridiculous amount for troubleshooting only to tell you that the item is not fixable. This is my go-to store for any future purchases or service.

It is a good place to buy ebike escooters. We are planned to buy the basic one escooters but end up a nicest escooters because the person who assist us is good at customer service. We are definitely gonna come back if we planned to buy ebike.

Dont get your repairs done here, first it took them over a week to replace 2 tires, they said the reason for the delay is they couldnt get the tire on...... kinda simple for a bike mechanic you would think..... My friend also went there for a full bike service and it came out with the brakes not working.... we called and asked if they would fix the issue and they said no they did there service and any repairs we are responsible for...... we open the brake fluid chamber to find it completely empty.... and they had this bike for over a week aswell. The mechanic here is completly useless

Honestly one of the worst customer service experiences I’ve ever had. I brought in my e-scooter hoping for a simple fix, but not only did they fail to get it working, the guy at the front desk had a horrible attitude the entire time. Super rude, dismissive, and acted like I was wasting his time. Instead of actually helping, he gave me attitude and then told me they couldn’t even fix my scooter in for service. If this is how they treat paying customers, I’d avoid this place at all costs.

I recently visited HKP calgary and I was very impressed by their service center and got to know that they have a store in Red Deer too. I visited them in Parkland mall and again very interesting store! great selection of electric bikes, electric scooters and kids ride on. they also carry mobility scooters and electric wheelchairs for adults. I did not make any purchases yet but will definitely be back as their prices are actually very very affordable. I would 100% recommend HKP

I brought my Circooter escooter here for Flat tire repair which I bought from else where. I was really impressed by the staff professionalism. They completed the repair within minutes like masters of their trade yet at a very affordable price compared to others. I was also impressed by the huge variety and availability of parts in their sevice center. If I ever buy any escooter or ebike again it would be this place as their prices and service is best in town. I can’t recommend them enough!

Extremely rude, wont stand by their repairs. Update: Took the scooter to Iron Cycle, turns out HKP crossed a wire with the charging port and bricked the battery. They have no idea what they're doing, they're more likely to damage your scooter than repair it. Save yourself the headache and attitude and find another shop. Also despite the comment they never reached out to me
