This is the second time I have used federated mortgage and Rick Peluso. I cannot state enough how having Rick made our dreams come true. He was always ready to chat about questions, concerns and made us feel at ease. We bought a home and sold a home in less than 45 days and again without Rick would not be possible. They were amazing to work with ! Especially Bill Jr. he communicated with us and our realtor every step of the way. He was very quick to respond to our text or email, along with answering any questions we had during the process of buying our first home! We worked with Logan during our house hunting process. It took us almost 2 years. Logan was so patient and so fast to fulfill all our requests for cost sheets and answer our questions. He answered emails on weekends and at 10pm at night and was SO dedicated to assisting us get our perfect home. When we finally got a house under contract the process was so smooth that I had to reach out and ask if I was missing anything. He kept us informed on every step and let us know deadlines. He got us through the entire approval/closing process in less than 30 days! I highly highly recommend him if you are looking for a mortgage company!

My wife and I started the process to buy a home in a different state a few months ago and doing so took a leap of faith which required putting a lot of trust in strangers.
It's honestly pretty frightening considering the money involved in buying a home, and since we're not from Pittsburgh we didn't have anyone to ask for recommendations and that felt a bit unnerving.
When it came time to look for a mortgage company, our realtor, who we also found online, recommended Federated Mortgage and they have been absolutely fantastic to work with.
From the jump our loan officer Bill Weeks was immediately friendly and put our worries at ease by being straight forward and willing to answer any questions that we had without hesitation.
Also, since this was our first home purchase he went out of his way to give us a lot of extra info about what we could expect and gave us a good roadmap of what the home buying process would look like.
As we began our house hunt Bill reached out often and made sure we brought him any questions so he could answer them immediately. He was active in contacting us and made sure we knew that he was available.
When we spotted a few houses that we liked Bill was proactive in sending us estimates so we would know upfront what all the associated costs would be and insured there would be no surprises.
When we found the home we put in an offer for, Bill and the team at Federated really shone by being direct and helpful. They never overwhelmed us but also were clear, informative, and very communicative.
Our closing just happened and reflecting on the process things were amazingly easy and painless, and Bill can take a lot of the credit for that.
We've heard horror stories from friends and family with their experiences with other mortgage companies and Loan Officers, such as a lack of communication or not being available and that was absolutely the opposite of our experience with Federated.
I can't even imagine how difficult this would've been without the kind of treatment that Bill Weeks and Federated Mortgage gave me and my wife.

Robert has always helped with finding the best possible rate. I have done two refinances with his not regret not going with his when I bought the house. I recommend Robert.
