Justin worked my case as though it was his own. He was always available for a call and provided legal advice with a level head. Immediately, I knew he was the protector I needed in a hopeless, emotional, desperate time. He made me feel safe, confident and armed with the law; I could go to work without fear. I stopped crying for the majority of the work day. When we went before the judge, he knew my case inside and out, presenting it professionally and respectfully. The other lawyer looked unprepared and incompetent in comparison. I only wish I had called him much sooner; this advice would have helped stop the harassment and my unknown compliance (signing things I should not).

For the past 20 years I have worked for the US Department of Homeland Security. 10 years ago, I had a pacemaker implanted in me. My agency was made aware of this at the time since they had to place me on light duty for 3 weeks and I had to submit medical documentation and a medical clearance letter to be able to continue performing my duties without any restrictions. Within the past 10 years, I have successfully completed all of my duties without any issues including no call outs and no medical problems while on or off the job. I continued to be fully cleared by my physician to work without limitations and never had any issues being at or returning to work after a check up. In 2020, the agency decided I was medically unfit to perform my duties, regardless of the documentation and paperwork I had from my physician stating otherwise, and released me from duty mid shift without pay or compensation. For 2 months I was struggling at home to find a way to return back to duty when I found Mr. Schnitzer and he accepted my case. Mr. Schnitzer worked on analyzing my case, including my letter of removal from service, and continously fought hard to get me returned to service. In the end, he was successful in getting me back into duty in a different position and even fought (and won) in his negotiation for me to recieve back pay. While I hope to never experience something like this again, I know if I do, I would only want to hire Attorney Justin Schnitzer again. Respectfully SSG ,Officer Augustin Martinez.

I don’t normally give reviews, but Justin Schnitzer, Esq, deserves every good review I should have given through the years. I would have been lost without him. I called a lot of lawyers that specialized in government employment. Justin was the only one that seemed to truly care about me and my situation. He responded quickly when I had questions and did an excellent job responding to the accusations against me. I strongly recommend Justin if you find yourself in a situation where the government has decided you are no longer needed. Justin got me the settlement I wanted. We can't say enough about Justin. He was a literal life saver in a very difficult time. Wrongful Termination was our issue. He was knowledgeable about the federal law and employees rights and was able to give expert advice. He was professional, kept us informed every step of the way and worked hard for our cause. He was able to article our issues to the MSPB board and because of his excellent work the agency moved quickly to settlement. He was a big advocate for us in obtaining a fair resolution monetarily. Our case was settled in record time. Justin kept things moving forward quickly so we could move on with our lives. He listened to our concerns, was quick to respond to email and phone messages and work round the clock at times. We are indebted to Justin in helping us with our case. My only wish is that we could give him a 10 star rating. 5 doesn't seem to be enough.
