I never do reviews but this shop deserves a five star rating. Called in to get some traditional sweets for a birthday, the assistant was extremely helpful with advice on the best selection. I also bought a some individual cakes which were ‘first class’ for taste, presentation and cost. If you are passing by call in I can highly recommend.
Hii. I came to get samosas today at 5.45. The person at the counter gave me worst customer service. There was some somosas but it wasn't for a sale and he didn't let me to speak he just went inside and shut the door as he was so busy. I had to tap the desk and make sound to make people inside to come outside. I am requesting the manager of the Shop to address the customer service properly to the employees. We come so far because the product is best but the customer experience is very worst which makes me disgusting to enter the Shop again..
Please address this issue immediately.
Clean ! Professional and friendly staff. The chucken biryani was very disappointing . Didnt have the distinct biryani aroma. Tasted more like a pilaw rice dish and looked like left overs, only 1 very small piece of chicken and some bits of bones. Veg samosa and chick spring roll delicious 😋 wish i bought more. Massive range of sweet treats, all fresh and super quality.
Where do I start? I bought a tiramisu cake for my daughter’s 12 birthday today. It was ordered 2 days in advance for today’s collection and when the children sat to eat the cake and had a bite, they spat it out. We tried it and realized it was too bitter. We rang the shop to inform them of the problem and was told the baker went home and nothing can be done today. We took the cake to the shop straight away and the staff kept saying it’s the way it should taste.The cake was disgustingly bitter and on one side it was ok which is strange as the cake should be uniformed in taste. Worst then the taste of the cake was the bitter service we received, it was appalling. No form of apology or even acknowledgement that it was wrong as they tasted the cake and judging from the expression on their faces, it was not good. Having used them for over 30 years I will definitely not be going back and make sure I inform family and friends to avoid them. The disappointment for my daughter is more significant than the price of the cake so I told them to keep the cake and eat it themselves.
