I have not heard back from you; however, since then, I spoke with one of our legal assistants, Briana. We believe she spoke to you. In short, she said that you were very emotional and upset initially when you called as you were going through several domestic violence cases in Hernando and Polk Counties, and they were extremely upsetting to you. I can understand that. However, when Briana explained that we cannot help you as we do not work on cases outside of Hillsborough, Pinellas and Pasco counties, you became upset saying that you live in Hillsborogh County and so we should be able to help you. Briana tried to explain that it does not matter where you live, that it is where the case was filed that matters. She was going to give you The Florida Bar Referral information, but you hung up on her. Considering this, and I have not heard from you, she did give you the correct information as to whether we can help you.

I did not have a positive experience with the firm and I would never recommend anyone wasting their money here. I would have to reach out to them for an update, instead of the other way around. It cost me at least $7,000, just for me to be told I need to just agree to 50/50 right before court, despite a documented history of domestic violence. I also did not receive the total amount of backpay that I was owed, because my attorney forgot to submit copies of the childcare expenses for half of the time. During court, my estranged spouse was allowed to lie with hardly any defense on my behalf. After I was asked to pay an additional $1,000 for submission of the final order with a judge, a document that would take maybe an hour to complete, I decide to decline further services. I am divorced now, but still fighting custody 2 years later. Go anywhere else.
You were our client from June 2022 through our withdrawal in February 2025 You write that you paid us at least $7,000; however, you had paid $5,200 in retainer and costs to file and related expenses. The request for $1,000 included a $452 balance due (never paid) and we asked for an additional amount to finalize your case. Furthermore, as we have excellent attorneys at All Family Law Group, I know that you would not just be told to agree to 50/50, unless that is what was substantiated in your circumstances. In addition, we do keep our clients informed as to any activity in their cases, including procedure as well as upcoming hearings and mediations, etc. We also encourage clients to contact us if they have questions, as if not we cannot know what questions they have. In addition, there are no notes in the file about your not receiving all of the past child care you say was due to you. In fact, you did not have any complaints and wished us well in your last email, so I do not know why you have written this negative review months later. However, I do hope that you and your former husband can resolve your ongoing custody disputes. Take care!
