Came here for dinner and left with a whole nightmare. My sister’s food had hair in it. She didn’t eat it, didn’t want it, and instead of handling it like a normal business, the staff got rude and escalated everything. The food was paid for anyway, so the theft narrative is insane.
What should’ve been a simple “sorry, let us fix it” turned into police being called, zero accountability, and now complete silence when I tried to reach out after. Y’all had no problem taking the money, but can’t even respond when things go left.
Customer service was trash, how this was handled was unnecessary, and the lack of response after says everything. This could’ve been avoided entirely.
Do better seriously.
Were showed to a table, but ten minutes before anyone came to us. Drinks and food orders were taken together, drinks never came. Food came one at a time over the span of 15 minutes so we didn't eat together. 2 of the four entrees were inedible. Very weird, rotten smell to it. Nobody ever came to check on us or give us a bill. I let them know but they opted to leave the untouched dishes on the bill which is their right but certainly evident of their standards. Worked in the industry all my life and this is the lowest rung.
I don’t know why this restaurant only 4.3 stars and whata pho have 4.8, be honestly this is the restaurant of glory of Des Monies! I can say it should be 5 stars restaurant, Here didn’t have any food lower than 5 stars, I can say is perfect in this restaurant and hope it can get the 4.8,4.9 soon!
The food was very good a reasonably timely for how busy it was. The customer service was good and did a good job about helping us. I have had pho several times at several different place’s and this was probably my best experience yet. The portions are large and you really get a good bang for your buck. Needless to say i would highly recommend this place.
Really good place to get broken rice (com tam)! The meat and fish sauce were perfect and I absolutely loved the omelette. Typically, broken rice would come with steamed pork and egg meatloaf but totally fine since the portions on this dish were large. Staff were great and friendly and the restaurant had a lively atmosphere. Make sure to wear something you're ok with getting smelly because there was definitely an oil smell on me and my friends right after eating here!
First time ever eating here. Ordered online and they didn’t tell me to wait for half of my food to be ready. I was 15 mins late for pick up and let me leave and didn’t say a word. No one called for me as I left or called my number. I found out after I drove 20 minutes home that I didn’t have said half. Lady on the phone said I can come pick it up. No delivery or refund was an option. Stupidest pick up ever.
I’m not one to be a Karen and complain but that was super bogus. Definitely should’ve gotten a freebie or a refund.
The food is incredible, and makes up for any shortcomings in the service. And as for the service, I don't blame the employees or anything, it always just seems like they're just slightly understaffed to the point of making it a bit uncomfortable for both the patron and the servers themselves. Getting seated takes awhile, and is a little too informal for my liking, and sometimes it's hard to get a refill when needed, but at the same time I recognize there's at least 10-15 different tables/parties there at one time, and really only feels like there's 2-3 servers at any given time I've been there, so it's hard to be too upset about anything. Really popular spot, and rightfully so, as again the food is amazing. The wings are always worth it, despite them always seeming to try and deter you from ordering them by mentioning the wait time on them, haha, but just order them and thank me later. As for the rest of the menu options, you really can't go wrong with anything. Having Bob Ross episodes playing in the background all the time also adds to the atmosphere. Great spot if you're visiting or in the area.
Look man.. I don’t even like to be the person to complain… but I ubered all the way from home. I looked it up and it said it closed at 845. I landed at like 6 o’clock. It’s raining outside.. just to get dropped off and it’s closed.. on a rainy day man.. not fun at all.
