We had an extremely bad experience with AA Rentals. We were scammed and forced to pay for issues that were not our responsibility. When we tried to address this, they sent an unqualified “mechanic” who turned out to be a friend of the company—he clearly lacked the necessary expertise and simply assured us that everything was fine, even though it obviously wasn’t.
To make matters worse, the landlord raised his voice, refused to listen to our arguments, and constantly interrupted us, so we didn’t even get a chance to explain the situation properly. The entire experience was deeply frustrating, and it’s clear that they take no responsibility and have no respect for their customers/tenants. We strongly advise against dealing with them!

While we understand that mechanical issues can be frustrating, we believe this review does not accurately reflect the circumstances surrounding your rental. The vehicle in question was functioning properly when it was delivered to you, and it was only after several hours of use that significant damage occurred. Our mechanic discovered that the sump of the vehicle was damaged, which caused an oil leak. This damage could only have been caused during your time with the car, especially considering the vehicle was driven over three hours to Coral Coast without issues.
When we addressed the damage and discussed the necessary costs, we were met with resistance rather than the cooperation we typically receive from our customers. Our policies are in place to protect both our business and our clients, and we regret that this situation has led to a misunderstanding.
We have a long history of providing excellent service and maintaining high standards for our vehicles, as evidenced by the many satisfied customers we’ve served over the years. This incident is an unfortunate exception, and we believe this review stems from frustration about the situation rather than a fair assessment of our service.

Great service to have, when there are so few rental places. They were attentive and great at communicating with us. Came to pick us up at Port Denarau when we got off the ferry, met up with a ride nearby, then met us at a True Mart and dropped us off at the airport in time for our flight. Amazing service!!
