🎭 New York-New York? More like a flashy facade over a cramped, outdated motel 😬. Rooms are tiny, noisy, and smell faintly of smoke 🚬. Lines for check-in and attractions take forever ⏳. Overpriced food feels cheap, and the “Vegas energy” is all hype 💸. Staff are friendly enough, but the overall vibe screams tourist trap 🚫. Definitely not worth the price—save your money for a real Vegas experience! 🌟
Overall we had a good experience. The room was clean, comfortable, and for the price, it felt newer and better maintained than places like Excalibur, Luxor, or LINQ. You definitely get solid value for what you pay here.
One downside was housekeeping. We didn’t opt out for daily room service, but during our four-night stay, no one came by to take out the trash or restock basics like toilet paper. We eventually had to call and request service, which should really be standard even without full housekeeping. (We do tip room service)
The location is a big plus. Everything is within reach — an ABC Store is right across the street, and there are plenty of food options inside the casino including restaurants, ice cream, and crepes. There’s also an arcade on the second floor.
Another convenient bonus is that New York–New York is one of the designated pickup and drop-off locations for Zoox. Despite the minor service hiccup, we’d stay here again.
We stopped in to visit the Nine Irishman's Pub. It was like walking into an upscale pub in Ireland. The appointments were fantastic as were the beverages and service. We also met "Tony", a local who gave us great insights of places to visit and eat while we were there. If you're in Las Vegas, and enjoy old world charm, you need to make it a point to come here!
The location is great, food is so-so, but the noises in the Century Tower are terrible. I stayed in room 2803, and it was constantly filled with strange humming , non-stop sounds coming from the vents. Apparently it was a room close to electrical. Front desk told me that they cannot move me, so they send an earplugs.
Never again :)
I purchased a one night stay 24 hours before check in from Groupon. This was my first time staying here.
The line for check in was much longer than the other resorts I've stayed at in Vegas.
The pool is ok... nothing too exciting to be honest.
The dining options were great and the Hershey store was pretty cool.
It's a mid sized casino like Paris so I did not get lost.
The room was nice and quiet and I had a view of the rollercoaster.
As I was getting ready to leave the room and check out the next morning, I saw a roach crawling on top of the bed. Thankfully it was not the bed I had slept in the night before. My stay was great up until that point.
Note: I stayed here Oct 2022
