Very disappointed. Shady practices. Avoid this company. I placed an order for contacts that were listed in stock, only to find days later that my order was still “processing” because they were actually not in stock. I received zero notification about the delay. Had I known they wouldn’t ship for weeks, I never would have spent nearly $200 with this company. Very disappointed. Shady practices. Avoid this company.

Crooks! Ordered on 9/28. Website specifies 'Ships in 3-5 business days'. Nothing! After the call, they promised to mail in a few days. NOTHING! Called on 10/16. They told they need a few more weeks. Looks like they are just using the money. Cheaper than the bank loan. Cancelled the order.

Incompetence and Fraud I placed an order for 2 pairs of prescription glasses for a total of $369.88. One of them was for prescription sunglasses intended and specified (in their prompt on the website order form) to be matched in tint to what was shown in the product photo. It was delivered barely tinted and could not serve as sunglasses. I requested a re-do, and this time specified explicitly the degree of tint intensity as 15% Visible Light Transmission (or VLT - an optometry term used in the industry). It took another month and multiple chat and phone communications with them to process the correction, and when I received the glasses they were not tinted at all. Turns out their lab mistakenly inverted the specification and applied 15% of tint intensity which instead of 15% of VLT. I had to send the glasses back for another correction, this time insisting on talking to a "problem" manager and getting him to promise that he'll personally oversee the correction and get it back to me within 3 weeks as I was leaving the country for the summer. Despite me using the website chat and customer service number nearly daily for long frustrating conversations with people who claimed to have contacted the warehouse/lab/managers for the subsequent 3 weeks, I left the country having not received the order. I emailed the customer service and manager from abroad demanding a refund: needless to say, i have not received it. They took my business and my money, wasted 3 months of my time, delivered a mistaken product twice, demonstrated extreme lack of professional expertise and customer service standards, but most importantly, they charged me for a product that I do not have in my possession, which amounts to FRAUD.

Poor Customer Service I did not have a positive experience. I uploaded my prescription and when I received the box, I wasn't ready for a new set of contacts (mind you, I have been wearing contacts 35 years). When I opened the box, I realized they shipped me 4 boxes of the WRONG contacts. It has been almost 2 months, and I still have not received the replacements. On the return form, I marked for them to use my first payment method if there was an additional charge. I have had to keep emailing and still have no contacts. I will never use this company again. Saving $10 is not worth it. I'll go back to 1800-Contacts forever.

Super sketchy company I ordered a pair of Polaroid sunglasses and they never came. I contacted them about the delay a couple of times and finally they sent me something very late. The sunglasses that I ordered never arrived. What arrived were not sunglasses but frames for glasses. Not at all the sunglasses I ordered. Again I had to contact them again. I have a book's worth of emails. Really obnoxious customer service where there is no acceptance of any responsibility for any mistakes. I honestly think this is their business strategy. Don't send anything till you are contacted. Then send something you're trying to get rid of but not the ordered item.

HORRIBLE! Unethical return policy. Shipping cost is more than price of the glasses. HORRIBLE! Unethical return policy. Shipping cost is more than price of the glasses. I purchased some plain frames with plain clear glass at $11.25. But one of the lens had a logo embedded within the glass. Not the peel off tag. So the glasses are not usable. To return them would cost $11.95. So, I'm stuck with a pair of unusable frames.

Took over a month and terrible communication and still sent the wrong glasses. Then I have to pay to I ordered and was told 7 to 10 days and it took a month. I also called several times with help and wanted transition lenses and even wrote that on my order. When I finally got a hold of someone they told me My order was processed and sorry for delay. I wanted to make sure of accuracy and went over my order and she said she seen it was a request for transition but I didn’t order the right color lenses so I would have to wait on delivery and then return my glasses and start over. Very frustrating as I wanted for a vacation and now I received them and not what I wanted and definitely not enough time to reorder in time for another vacation. Terrible customer service and communication.

I had a really disappointing experience... I had a really disappointing experience with EZContacts. I ordered a pair of prescription sunglasses that took over a month to arrive. After all that waiting and anticipation, I received sunglasses where the prescription was correct in one eye, but completely blurry in the other—making them unwearable. I was told the delay was because they originally messed up my prescription and had to send it back to the lab. After all that, to still receive glasses I can’t see out of is incredibly frustrating. On top of that, the website said the frames were “in stock,” but it took over a week just for them to get them. At this point, I’m not even bothering to return them because I don’t want to deal with the hassle or wait any longer. I’ll be using LensDirect to fix the issue instead. Definitely won’t be ordering from EZContacts again.

A month later an still no glasses I used EZContacts for lens and never encountered a problem so I thought I’d give them a shot and purchase single lens eyeglasses for my computer with them and things went off the rails hard. 100% transparency, *I* initially put the wrong prescription in, however, I did upload the doctor’s prescription and every advertisement, including the hold advertisement on their customer service phone number says that they check the order against the prescription and if there is a question they call to confirm. This did not happen in my case and I took full responsibility for my mistake. The CS offer to do a “lens change” for me and there was a downgrade to the thickness of the lenses and would credit me the difference, all I had to do was pay for the return shipping. This was extremely fair and so on 3/7/25 I sent the glasses back. On Monday 3/10/25 at 10:30am the glasses were delivered and received. They told me that I’d receive my credit within 5 business days the return of the glasses, again reasonable. But this is where things go downhill. From here on out there is radio silence from the company. Friday 3/14/25 I call to confirm that they received the glasses and are working on the new lens and to inquire as to when I should receive my. They confirm the glasses are received and that I will receive an email in 1 business day. Tuesday 3/18/25 I receive an email from CS stating, “our returns team has reached out to you via email. Please respond to their email.” Naomi D - but I had not received an email and I was keeping tabs on not only my regular email but spam as well. Thursday 3/20/25 I do finally receive my credit (thanks to that one CS rep) but call back because of course there was email. This rep tells me that she sees that they say that they sent me an email, but there is no indication that an email was sent and will ask them to resend an email, but she can’t tell me what the email says and has no idea what is going on with the eyeglasses. Friday 3/21/25 I get an email stating, “Please know that we’re giving your order top priority, and we expect to have it shipped out within the next 5-7 days” Thursday 3/27/25 I call back and say it’s 6 days and there is no update with a ship date and this CS says “oh that’s 5-7 business days” and I tell her that I can read, the email says days not business days and she says well it’s business days. It’s at this point I ask to speak to a manager and she tells me that none are available but will pass my information onto them and one will call me back. Of course they never do. Thursday 4/3/27 I call yet again and am told that there was an error with the second set of lenses and there will be another 1-3 day additional delivery notification on the shipping. Thursday 4/10/25 – 1 month after the lens were returned – I called yet again and was told that they had no update and that the company was going to be closed all next week and someone would look into when they returned on 4/21/25!!!!!!! This is absolutely ridiculous! The people who answer the phone are nice enough but are not able to do anything for you other than take down your complaints. No one actually does anything from a management perspective. The company has ZERO communication skills and as I have said every time, if this was reverse and they sent me the glasses and I was holding their money hostage from a month, they would be freaking out. ZERO stars!

Disappointment from Start to Finish Given the importance of vision care and the need for trustworthy service, I can’t recommend this company. I won’t be ordering from them again. I had a really disappointing experience with this company. Their user interface is confusing, and even as someone who works in tech, I genuinely thought I was ordering contacts for both eyes. When the order arrived, it only included one eye’s prescription. At no point did anyone from the company reach out to flag that—despite the fact that I uploaded a full prescription, which clearly indicated lenses for both eyes. That oversight feels like a major miss. To make matters worse, I paid for overnight shipping, allowing a full business day for processing, but the order didn’t arrive until the following Wednesday. I ended up paying almost as much for shipping as I did for the contacts themselves. When I called their customer service team, the representative simply reiterated what had happened—something I was already painfully aware of—and offered no real support or resolution. The interaction left me feeling frustrated and dismissed.

LIES LIES AND MORE LIES Hands down the worst customer service i have ever dealt with. Every week they keep telling me another 1-2 weeks. They charged my card and they don't even have the glasses in stock? The website states that we will not be charged until the glasses get sent out for lenses. Not true. Glasses are in stock ready to ship! Not true. 1-2 weeks! Not true. Nothing has been truthful about this company. NOT ONE THING!!!!! FRAUDULENT COMPANY! DO NOT BUY ANYTHING FROM THEM UNLESS YOU ENJOY NOT BEING ABLE TO SEE.

slow delivery. not in stock even though it said "IN STOCK" I ordered glasses oct 11 arrived november 23. thats 44 days. I contacted them first after 3 weeks. They said manufacturer is out of stock. I emailed them again and they said it will be 3 more weeks unless i pick another model. then it was a few more weeks. They dont keep anything in stock i guess and drop ship. Even though when i ordered it said "IN STOCK"

defective contacts, service issues Hello, On July 19th I ordered a 90 day supply of contacts these contacts from EZ contacts. these contacts come in 6 boxes or 30 contacts each. .The total cost for 6 boxes is 295,95. One of the boxes out of the 6 was defective. All the contacts in the box which was more beat up than the other 5 boxes were folded in half in their containers. When you unfolded them and put them in your eyes there was a bend/seam in them and they would pop out of your eye and were so uncomfortable they could not be worn. All the 30 contacts in the one box were defective. I reached out to EZ contact many times and was asked to provide pictures of the faulty box which I did. There was a lot of back and forth, eventually they offered me a store credit of 16.95. When I went on line to look at the price of a single box of 30 contacts it would cost me 64 dollars to replace one box plus shipping. I am not sure why they think that is a fair solution. I would like a new box sent to my house by them for free as it was their product that was defective and all the other 5 boxes of 30 contacts were in working order and function well. At the very least they should refund the cost of a box of 30 as that is what I am going to have to buy as now I have an uneven amount of contacts. I am on a budget and cannot afford to not have these contacts replaced for the amount they will cost me. The tone of their messages was not helpful or polite and they told me that they would only replace 10 contact which was worth 16.50 " but they would round it up to 16.95??? the whole box was defective. please help me.

Poor customer service I placed an order online , I failed to realize that I was completely out of contacts so I called customer support, I explained to the lady my situation about being out of contacts, she “offered” to upgrade my shipping to 2day with no additional charge , the called dropped , I called back there was a long delay so I put in a request for a call back, a rep called me back , I explained to her what happened, she told me there was no records of my conversation with the previous associate (she made me feel like she thought I was lying) so I cancelled my order … I will never order from this company again … please remove my email from your distro list …
