Ordered Oakley Frogskin Sunglasses that never came, huge scam
Ordered some sunglasses from here and should have done my research but I quickly saw there were 4.2 stars so I assumed it was legit.
My sunglasses have been "Package in Transit" for weeks. Shipping number doesn't work, it says DHL is the carrier but the link is to a broken USPS URL. Asking for a refund but from what I gather they don't do that either.
Please don't make the mistake I did and order from this company.

Do NOT Order
If I could rate negative stars for EZ Contacts I would. Itâs been two weeks and I still do not have a confirmed date to receive shipment. After one week I emailed and asked for expedited shipping. They agreed and yet I still do not have my order.

Ordered glasses and contacts from same eye appointment prescription. The glasses give me major migraines and have been checked for prescription locally. They are way too strong causing me to not be able to read 20/20 at all (something I can do in my prescription glasses from 4 years ago). They are unwilling to admit their product is poor quality/made in error/ or anything of the like. I was told to order and pay for another pair. This would be reasonable if I just "didn't like them." This is NOT the case; it is a prescription/manufacture error. Do NOT buy from here. Almost $500 wasted.

I ordered a prescribed Ray-Ban RB4471 IRIS . However, I still haven't received my sunglasses. I emailed the customer support team on August 15th, 2023 (25 days after placing my order). I was told that the item was out of stock and would be restocked by September 7th. However, as of September 10th, my order still hasn't even been shipped from the store. It has been 55 days (TWO MONTHS) and my order is still not shipped. They won't even let me cancel my order/ start a return!
NEVER TRUST!!! You will WASTE your MONEY and TIME! I am unsure if they will ship it at this point. This website is NOT TO BE TRUSTED! This company might even be FAKE!

Do not buy glasses from this company!!!
Do not buy glasses from this company!!! Prices are low but you get what you pay for. I ordered a pair of glasses. Apparently they were on back order but that was not clear when I submitted the order. It took a while to figure out what was going on. Communication was very poor. It ended up taking a month to get my glasses. When I received them the frames were all stretched out and unwearable. The arms were so messed up they were at least an inch too wide on both sides. They could not be adjusted to fit my head. Either someone damage them or they had been sold to someone with a really big head and then returned. I don't know. I attempted to contact the company via phone. I was hung up on several times. Finally spoke with someone who was very rude and lacked any empathy. She just said 'return them'. I attempted to get a return label and it said on the website that my return window had closed. The the date it closed was prior to the date I returned the item. I was furious. I made a complaint on BBB. EZ contacts responded by saying that they had resolved my issue. Lies!! Now I don't know what to do because I feel like if I send back the item, I will never get my money back. This company is so shady!

Scammers
they are scammers! I was waiting for my order for a month, my glasses were not in stock! I wrote to them many times, I got tired of waiting and canceled the order. Now I have been waiting for two weeks for them to return my money! They lie that they returned the money, but it's not true!!! they stole almost $400 from me!

Took My Money and I Have No Glasses
Ordered prescription glasses on 4/3 the website says: "When ordering prescription lenses with your Eyeglasses or Sunglasses, allow 3 - 5 business days for your custom lenses to be made by our optical lab. Note: Some items may take 1-2 days before it reaches our warehouse. If your order will experience a delay due to a backorder, credit card verification problem, or availability problem then we will notify you via e-mail within 24 hours." - that was 23 days ago and the glasses are still being "processed" and no movement has taken place except the movement of my money out of my account. I would like a refund at this point. They can keep the glasses. I will find them somewhere else.

I was sold knock-off Ray Ban Sunglasses from EZContacts
I ordered a pair of Ray Ban Liteforce sunglasses from EZContacts. Because I owned a pair of this exact model before, I immediately knew they were knock offs. I complained, but they were adamant they were authentic and they offered to refund my money within 90 days if I returned them at my expense ($8.95). Wanting a legit pair, I purchased a pair of Ray Ban Liteforce sun glasses direct from Ray Ban. When they arrived I was relieved that they were in fact authentic. I took comparison pictures that demonstrably showed their versions were fake and their only response was that they would expedite the return at not cost. It irritates me to no end that companies like this can get away with trying to rip people off with zero to no consequences. That is the only reason for this review.
Scam or incredibly bad customer service and delivery
Fairly certain this is a scam or a company that is not to be trusted because of the performance and customer service is so bad. If you look on a few review sites, you will see that they are about 40 to 50% positive in the past 12 months. The overall score is high, but recently very poor.
Have spent a combined three hours following up on my order for the past month with this company. Still donât have a response on where the contacts are. It feels like a scam or a company that is drop shipping without inventory.
When you try to call, every option says we are too busy and we canât pick the phone. When you email they donât respond. The only option is to use a chat function where the customer service people give very vague answers to try to get you off the chat as soon as possible. In my case I was told to keep on checking the tracking information for another five days, itâs been 30 days since ordering. After five days, they said to contact them again for potential options. Likely going to have to call the credit card company to dispute the transaction.
Edit: despite ezcontacts responding to this review on another website to try to save face, their customer service has yet to respond to my two attempts to contact them. I was told to contact them for next steps on Dec 3rd, which I foolishly did, but they continue to give a run around without any understanding of what they are doing. It has been 35+ days since placing my order. I put an order via âdiscountcontactsâ on Monday and am set to receive the item for the same price in 3 days. Summary: AVOID EZCONTACTS!
