Very friendly receptionist. I made an appointment for a free screening to see if I was a candidate for laser eye surgery at 14.00 and arrived at 13.45. I waited until 14.45 without being seen to and left.

I came in with a retina tear they did all the necessary test's. Dr Kruger dropped everything and did a almost 3 hr operation to save my sight. His staff is very friendly and they made me feel at ease and calm. Will recommend him to anyone with eye problems.

I recently had the Femto-Lasik procedure at Tygervalley Eye & Laser Clinic, and I couldn’t be more grateful for the exceptional care and gift I received. A huge thank you to Dr. Kruger, just a few days post-op and my vision is already over 20/20! I also want to express my appreciation to Mr. Juandré Kruger, the CEO, for running such a phenomenal practice. From the moment I walked in, the entire team made me feel welcome and well taken care of. Elize did my initial screening, and Jacky and Karen were amazing in testing my eyes. I was seen by Dr. Leigh-Ann and Dr. Kruger for the final tests, who were both professional and reassuring throughout the process. In the theatre, Sr. Rolene, Sr. Lane, and Sr. Isabella were incredibly helpful, ensuring I was comfortable and well taken care of. After the procedure, Hemani checked in with me post-op to ensure everything was healing well. The reception team, especially Candice, was always friendly and helpful, making every part of my visit pleasant and stress-free. One week post-op, I am thrilled with the results. I can now read the fine print on my toothpaste, something I never could do before. It’s truly a gift to have my sight restored, and I am incredibly thankful for everything the team at Tygervalley Eye & Laser Clinic has done for me. Wow wow a beautiful clinic inside and outside. The staff,doctors and everyone so welcoming and the most friendliest people I personally have ever met. Would I recommend the clinic to even my worst enemy I would BEST EYE CLINIC ever thank you for giving my husband the hope of being able to see and drive again. After 7 months the statement I made was clarified and the misunderstanding explained. I have since returned and will have my left eye checked by Dr Kok. The stitch was also removed.

I had a cornea transplant over 20 years ago at Dr Johann Kruger. Amazing medical team, I was a final year student, with challenging vision problems and ended up finishing my studies, thanks to this life changing treatment.

I’ve had the pleasure of being seen by Karen twice, and I can confidently say she excels at her work. Her communication with patients is particularly impressive; she is clear, highly professional, and fosters a sense of confidence in her services. And she clearly loves what she does. Karen truly reflects the high standards of the practice. Compliments to you, Karen! I also want to acknowledge the wonderful staff at the clinic overall—they all contribute to a fantastic experience.

Theatre staff are lovely and kind. My only complaint is the reception staff who are unfriendly. Dr Rautenbach is brilliant

The staff and doctors are great, the service was excellent but the result and cost just wasn't worth it for me. I was farsighted and after turning 40 I struggled to see up close, my one eye was the culprit and the procedure was meant to bring back my 20/20 vision. They performed lazik on one eye and PRK on the other, one being stronger to reading and the other for distance. The result instead flipped everything around, my vision up close is amazing but distance is blurry. My vision was so bad for months but I stuck it out initially. I was told that it can take up to a year for everything to correct itself, after 6 months I just couldn't live with it anymore and got glasses. I was asked to keep going back but I simply could not afford the appointments, after paying out so much money I did not expect the regular appointments afterwards, I was that one in a hundred patients. If you are farsighted and you're thinking of getting Lazik I wouldn't risk it. I am going to try the one contact lens for a while and see if I can't improve my eyesight that way.
