Read this well, any company that operates in this manner, is not putting their customers first. I almost gave them 2 stars for the Dolomiti eyeglasses, but this is not an eyeglsss review. They get zero for shipping my $450 eyeglasses to Italy using a $20 subpar 3rd party shipping company (global post), that itself only has 10k 1.2 stars, AFTER after they charging me $70 for USPS priority express. Even so, the small flatrate box (which they shipped my exact previous pair in stateside), is only $50.55, but I could have dealt with. However, besides offering horrible service, the reason Global Post only charges the shipper $20, is because they gouge their customer on the other end with fees, lol. Eyeglasses did not not even have the courtesy, for $70, to upgrade from GP standard ship, it is right on the tracking number, that I uploaded to this review. This would not be so bad, had I not specifically stated when placing the order, that I did not want a private courier due to the excessive VAT fees they charge, almost or as much as the actual VAT. The eyeglasses customer service rep attempted to gaslight me by stating , oh but this company works with usps. Except the tracking number they sent me is global post, and it was picked up by global post, where it sits in a warehouse for probabably weeks, THEN it off to usps, then global post receives it to process the VAT/fees and then off to Poste Italia, who will force me to pay them a global post processing fee +VAT to oick up my package. The rep tried to blame tariff issues for changing the shipping means, except this package is leaving the US, to a country that has had VATs forever, not coming. Zero excuse. The rep finally agrees (after offering 1/2 ship refund), to refund the difference out of courtesy. No, you are refunding me because your company over triple charged me for a service they did not provide, and using a service I speciffically indicated I did not want. Then she said not to worry, they will ship a new pair if it gets lost, lol no worries, 6 month wait. No, if it gets lost I am initiating a Chase chargeback. So, according to Global post reviews, I may or may not recieve my eyeglasses for at least 2 months, verses a direct USPS small international priority flatrate, which I paid for, and only takes 6-10 business days. Any company that uses GP must be aware that they have a tendency, with 4 package transfers, to lose packages. They are also aware that it sticks their customers with fees, because GP literally brags about keeping costs down on their website geared to drum up ecommerce business. So, what exactly was the other 50 I gave eyeglasses for usps priority anyway, other than my giving them money for a nothing but a headache? Well, not like eyeglasses are important to ship quickly and safely anyway, right?

I have used their website and spoken with their GREAT, knowledgeable customer service team and I have been in store and seen their physical collection and gotten advice and adjustments from their opticions. Overall they have a great selection and reached out to me when the manufacturer put my frames on backorder after saying they were in stock. They sell their authorized frames at such a low price, this place is great. I recommend eyeglasses.com to everyone I know!

On top of a misleading return policy—which neglects to mention that the customer is responsible for return shipping costs in the email outline—the company also failed to specify exactly what would be refunded "In The Return Instructions". Their lack of communication and transparency forced me to file a dispute to get my money back. This is a poor way to conduct business. A company that boasts about its return policy should honor it in a timely and honest manner.

This review is for eyeglasses.com I was a repeat customer to this website having had lenses made. The lenses were fine. I decided to send in my mother's glasses this time. Shockingly bad treatment of a repeat customer. Their website malfunctioned making it impossible to access and print the shipping label. The company suggested that the problem was on my end (inability to make proper use of their website). I was promised an email with the label by the next day but that the representative couldn't do anything the day I ordered the lenses. This label did not arrive the next day. Why was I concerned? These are my mother's glasses and I'd already been set back by some false starts with insurance plus I was anxious to ship before the 4th of July. Having not received the label the next day, I called again, spoke with another agent, who said there had been a glitch on their end and promptly sent me the shipping label. Somehow she could do it whereas this courtesy was impossible the previous day. I was again told that I should be grateful for free shipping and that this is a small business etc. etc. When I asked for compensation for the difficulty and the wait, they took 10% off the total. Ok, 10% was something - about $11 - but not much on top of condescension. I printed the label and went off to UPS. On the way, the company called me to say that since I had had so much trouble with their website, they were doing me a favor and cancelling my order. Again, all this is my fault apparently. If I had shipped it, they said, they would have sent the glasses back without providing lenses. Astonished at this treatment. I see now that the Better Business Bureau rating for this company is an F owing to multiple complaints and non-response by the company. There are so many other online lens makers - why use this one?

Disappointed first time customer I would rate my experience 2-stars if not for he quality of the glasses. The time for my order to be completed took longer than expected- over a month. The lack of communication on the part of the company is poor. After 3 weeks of waiting, I called customer service to inquire about the status of my order and they informed me the frames were out of stock and that's why my order had not yet been processed. It would have been nice for them to reach out and let me know. I regret having paid the rush order free because I still had to wait so long to receive the glasses. I truly believe my phone call prompted them to push my order through because the next day, I received an email stating my order was being processed. I record the glasses 8 days later.
