Better late than never
I ordered my prescription glasses and was hoping to have them before a trip. Unfortunately, they took three weeks to ship. However, when I received them, I was very happy with the quality. Customer service was friendly when I contacted them, but they weren't able to correct the issue with the glasses being delayed.
NO COMMUNICATION! DON'T ORDER FROM THEM!
I have ordered from this place two times before (2022 and 2024) for replacement lenses (where I send my frames in with the new prescription and they replace them). I need new lenses again and I wanted to talk to someone regarding some questions I have about certain add on options. For WEEKS now, no matter what I do, no matter how many times I call or email them, NO ONE ANSWERS (you have to leave a message) OR CALLS YOU BACK. The same with email, you get a email saying they received your inquiry and no one EVER emails you back. Chat is useless to, no one ever answers that either. I don't know what happened since january 2024 but I wouldn't order from them. There is no way in heck I'd send them my glasses now when they wont make any attempts at answering simple questions.
Excellent quality but slow service
My glasses prescription is admittedly tricky... progressive lenses, with prism, and gradient tinting. The gradient tinting is hard to find and I'm VERY happy Eyeglasses.com could provide it. The glasses I received are PERFECT. However, the process was remarkably slow and communication was lacking, with only one progress report after about 10 days and only after I inquired about the status. It was nearly a month between ordering the glasses and receiving them. Slow is acceptable, but only if communication is good. But... all's well that ends well, right?
Poor communication
I received my first pair of glasses quickly but they did not look right on me so I contacted customer service for an exchange. We emailed back and forth a couple of times and I sent the first pair back per instructions but then the emails just stopped. Even when I called the customer service number and explained the problem I have not been able to ascertain whether the new order is being prepared and when I might expect it. It's been very frustrating to be in glasses limbo for weeks!
Good but not great
The first order I sent eyeglasses.com several years ago went great, but this time I felt like I was ignored. They didn't come as fast as the first time and I ended up sending several emails and telephone calls. I finally got the glasses after accelerating each email as more stressed but still no one called or replied. Communication was zero until I got a request for this review. I'll still use them again if needed as I was as happy with this order as the first. The product was exactly what I ordered. It was just slower and I could get no answers from anyone as to why. No communication at all.
Poor Communication
I sent multiple online requests for follow up and was never contacted by your organization. Come to find out, after my own research, their was a problem with the address that the package was mailed too on your end. The shipping address was correct in the emailed order confirmation, but the package was shipped to a non monitored business P. O. in my home town that I had used many years ago. Due to your lack of communication I will not be using your service in the future. The glasses did meet my expectations.

Frames were not available from the manufacturer and I am still awaiting my refund weeks later. after four emails I’m starting to suspect I was scammed

Nice glasses
These frames were out of stock the first time I came back this year. I bought a pair of flimsy glasses from China (yeah, I didn't realize that's where they were coming from when I ordered) and wasn't thrilled with them. Before Christmas I looked at eyeglasses.com on a whim and they were back in stock! Very happy with my purchase! 2nd time ordering from eyeglasses.com and I will be back!
