The EWF team were amazing and super easy to deal with. From the lovely guy who came out to quote us (within two hours after the visit) to the installers they were all very professional. The quote for sliding fly screens on our windows and a sliding fly screen door came in under what I was expecting which was so amazing and the product is better than expected! High quality and a variety of colours that matched our steel blue window frames. Besides a few delays in getting them installed I was really happy with the level of professionalism and service that the team provided. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.

By far the worst curtain and blind manufacturer I have ever dealt with. If you are looking for quality products and good customer service, this isn’t the place to go. We ordered a curtain and several Roman blinds recently and when they arrived, the condition, the poor quality and the look was less than 1 out of 10. We didn’t accept them and asked the installer to remove them. Even the installation guy said they wouldn’t look right in our home. When I asked for a refund, after several calls and emails they refused to refund my money and insisted on me taking the poor quality blinds and curtains. In 20 years of buying homes in Sydney, renovating and decorating, I have never come across a company so unwilling to assist in keeping the customer happy. I would rate this business zero out of Ten. 0/10.

Highly recommend! Absolutely loved the professionalism of their teams…from the admin who would call to confirm dates/times, the team actually showing up on time and keeping me informed, their expertise in advice and delivery. Amazing customer service with quick response times. I never felt pressured to buy more or do more. My husband was very hesitant to get curtains, the advisor who came was patient, helped us with the visualisation and deciding what would look best. The person who did the measurements also installed it which was nice as we talked about some weird tweaks due to the old building were in. There was a follow up call to ensure I was happy. Definitely recommend them And would come work with them in the future. Big thanks to the entire team

One star as the quote went well then everything went downhill from there. Customer service and communication went down while the price and frustration went up. They didn’t return calls when they said they would and couldn’t find a revised quote their rep had done the day before. Luckily I had the good sense to cancel my order as I did much much better elsewhere.

We had roller blinds and plantation shutters installed on our brand new home in November last year. Unfortunately we can't remove the flyscreens on our awning windows as the plantation shutter frame is wider than the flyscreen. No amount of twisting or manouvring can allow the flyscreen to be removed. It took 6 months for Empire to follow up and send a technician out to investigate. No solution was offered other than to remove the awning sash and distort the flyscreen for removal each time the flyscreens require cleaning. This would result in damage to the flyscreen and the window frame. When suggested that the flyscreen frames should be made narrower, Empire declined to pay for this leaving us to resolve the issue. Their initial measure up failed to ensure that flyscreens could be removed for cleaning. Getting tired of trades palming off their faults back onto the clients.

I am happy that they managed to find someone going above & beyond to fix it. He deserves a pay rise!
