I have been coming here for years but last night on Halloween night the guy that was working the night shift was extremely rude unkind hasty and unprofessional never have I been treated so awful here and I hope he doesn't treat others the way he treated me I won't be back here anymore and it's a shame
I can't rave enough about this bakery, not only were the cupcakes INCREDIBLE but Beth our server was even more iconic!!! Beth's energy was infectious, charismatic, funny, SUPER chill, and easily made everyone whoe walked in feel like a best friend. My friends and I had a rough night before walking into this bakery and the tone Beth set changed our whole night, topped off with some of the most decadent and satisfying cupcakes I've had in a while...win win win!!!
I ordered 12 of the cupcakes (one of each flavor) . One slice of strawberry one slice of vanilla of the cakes
A black and white cookie, a Twix, a Swiss roll, a rainbow layer, chocolate chip chunk large and regular size and the frosting filled chocolate chip cookie.
I also ordered the rainbow spritz an orange shortbread and i forgot the name of the one that has two small 1.5 inch cookies pressed together with a thin i think leche filling.
I’m a home processor cottage bakery baker, i make baked goods in brooklyn- and so i go to bakeries and buy all the things i would want to bake myself to taste what’s happening out there.
Empire cake absolutely is HAPPENING out there!!!
(I mean it’s been doing that for a while now I’m just totally late to the game)
The cake in the vanilla cake and strawberry cake has a beautiful taste and texture.
The strawberry frosting is delicious.
The vanilla frosting also delicious though it didn’t kick my socks off as much as the strawberry.
Each cupcake was its own mini experience of happiness baked in a wrapper and frosted to perfection.
I will NEVER walk back in here or even recommend anyone to come here. The service is horrible which sucks because the cupcakes were okay. I walked in and said hello, no greeting back. I still continued speaking, enthusiastically explaining that it was my first time here and the gentleman with the monopoly man mustache said “okay…. Thats fine” in a dismissive tone. He didn’t ask if I want anything or suggested anything, he just stood there watching me until i placed my order. To be this rude for nothing is wild. I don’t want to bring race into it but i feel like that may have been the issue. if i were to post this experience on my social media, this business would be closed in 2 months. Maybe your staffing should work on their customer service or this business will not last long.
Kyle and Steven were incredibly nice. Great cakes, I would definitely recommend getting it here for your birthday.

Ordered a mocha cake with purple writing. Cake tasted great but when the guy showed it to us, I said I asked for purple and he swore it was purple. That looks blue to me but idk!
