Took my 18 year old Dyson D 29 electric floor vacuum in for second opinion on why it seemed to be seized. Had already been told it wasn't worth repairing by Guy's Vacuum in Kitchener. Dropped it off on Monday P.M., was called Tuesday to say that it needed a new motor (motor was not "replaceable" according to Guy's), and picked it up Wednesday P.M. as good as new! Great service, friendly help and quick too!
I brought my Dyson vacuum in for a trigger repair because it was gradually getting worse, but everything else-including the screen and electronics-was fully functional when I dropped it off. A couple of days later, I received a call from the owner informing me that now the screen and the rest of the machine are no longer working.
It appears that something went wrong during the trigger repair, leaving my Dyson in worse condition than before I dropped it off. When I asked the owner how they planned to resolve the issue, I was told that they couldn’t fix it because Dyson no longer supplies the necessary parts.
There was no attempt to offer an alternative solution or take responsibility for the additional damage done during the repair. I’m now left with a vacuum that is unusable.
Called ahead to confirm that they have my part in stock and that it will only cost me $35.99. Only to drive there the next day and find out that they do not stock the part and if I wanted to order it, it would cost me that same as buying it from the supplier. Not the best customer service, especially when you drive from anther city… won’t be back and don’t recommend wasting your time here.
Another Vacuum place in a different city highly recommended them as the original place I went didn’t have the discontinued part I needed. The staff are friendly and Extremely knowledgable. They have a ton of products and accessories and they went above and beyond showing me how certain accessories worked! I actually had fun shopping and bought a few extra items. I highly recommend them. They are worth the extra bit of a drive.

Thank you for the review, it was fun helping you with your vacuum issues that we could resolve.
Excellent Customer service. I came in last week with a small vacuum which stopped working all of a sudden. Steve took a look, found a napkin stuck inside it, which caused the vacuum to overheat and shutdown. It took him 5 minutes to fix it and he didn't charge me a penny!! Very nice gesture if you ask me. :))) I will definetly return to this store if I have any other vacuum issues. Thank you Steve!!!
Went in to see about fixing my central vac power head because it didn't want to pick up all the little fuzzes anymore. They opened it up and discovered the belt was stretched. I asked to also change out the roller, just to make sure (as it was 12 years old). Got it home, and it works like brand new. My carpets look brand new, and all the fuzzes are gone! What I liked was their want to keep my costs down. I love that my power head works like brand new after paying for repairs that totaled about 1/3 the cost of a brand new power head. Very kind service people, as always, when I have had service there.
I had been looking on and off for an odd shaped floor attachment for a Honeywell Central Vac without success. Steve was recommended to me and when we spoke he knew immediately what I was looking for, who the manufacturer was (something the distributor didn't even know), and had the attachment in stock. Three days later it had been shipped and was in my hands. My search will be much quicker the next time I need something. Many thanks, Steve.
