Tony walked me thru the entire process(I had no clue) They went above and beyond the normal to ensure I felt safe elevating my house up 5 ft. Noe's crew gets a "hell yeah!" and Dario's crew a great big thank you! And of course, my main man Phil has enough experience to tackle such a big job, dude's are fearless! Keep on keeping on Amber, didn't want to forget my favorite :)
I scheduled an appointment today for 12noon, and told the scheduler on the initial call that I had to go to work shortly after the appointment and asked how long it would take and they assured me 15-30 minutes. Yesterday I got a text to reply "Y" to confirm the appointment, and then ANOTHER text as a "friendly reminder" of my appointment, and then a call this morning around 9am about the 12 noon appointment. You would think it was pretty important to THEM to keep the appointment with all these unsolicited notifications and calls. So at 11:57am, the man calls and tells me he's going to be late (duh), and would be there around 1pm. Well that doesn't work for me as I had stated when I made the initial appointment. So I called the office and asked to speak to management. The girl answering the phone said they were "unavailable" (duh) but could she help me. I reconstructed everything to her I just wrote here and she tried to tell me appointments go from an hour to two hours. I corrected her and told her, no....I had told them in setting up the appointment I didn't have that kind of time. She never got management. I canceled everything.
I've heard good things about Brown, but this put a bad taste in my mouth about them. I don't do business with people that regard my time any less valuable than theirs. That is the impression Brown created with me and believe me, there are plenty of OTHER foundation repair companies. I've met with 5 others, and they were the 2nd worst in terms of how they handled this. There was one company worse than them.
Brown fountain did a phenomenal job. I had Tony come and look at my foundation and right off that bat he told me what would be needed done and also see what I was able to work with. Great service extremely professional as well the work crew. I still have work on my forever home to be done and will definitely use them again.
We hired Brawn because we heard good things about them. They did foundation work for us and in doing so damaged the siding on our house then claimed they did not do it. They tried to say it was from a separate company that was there a month previous. You can clearly see the damage. It is on the side of the house that you pass every time you come into the driveway. We paid them $13k for this work. Don't waste your money.
Tony and Tim came out and conducted the evaluation of my 60+year old home. They were polite, professional and very candid in the information given. I appreciated the honest and informative experience and will more than likely be using them in the future. I would definitely recommend them.
I worked with Lee Wormington at Brown Foundation repair to repair and level my 100 year old foundation. I can't say enough good things about Lee, Brown Foundation, and the team that addressed my home. From coordinating with the engineer to follow and address the specs outlined in the engineering document, establishing a plan that mitigated water going underneath the home, Lee and team did an amazing job. I would recommend them for any foundation needs.
From start to finish the Brown Organization did a good job. Over 22 years ago Pat Rodriquez helped me with foundation issues from when I first bought the house. Now just within the last 6 months, he was willing to help me figure out what needed to be done and put together a plan. The plan required a lot of work but Miguel Bonilla directed and empowered his team (Julio Andrade and staff) and (Simon Gonzales and staff) to step up and complete the job as if it was their own house! Their attention to details was also impressive. Last but not least thanks to Lauren and the gals in the office!
JOB WELL DONE!
Brown Foundation Repair leveled out our house 5 years ago. They lifted one side by 1 inch. Within 5 years the foundation had sunk back down to the original depth. Other companies told us this shouldn't happen. We called Brown to honor the warranty. After chasing them down, they told us that it would be 8 or 9 months before they could fit us into their schedule and that they would have to wait until they had work in our area (half hour from their shop) before they could put us on the schedule. I guarantee they aren't making their new clients wait that long for their service just the ones that they messed up. I heard something about them having two teams, one for new installations and one for warranty. The warranty stuff has to wait while doors go out of true and kitchens fall off the side of the house causing more damage. Since their integrity is obviously non existent, we went and had a few estimates to get their work redone by another company. The other companies were quoting less than half the price of what Brown charged 5 years ago. Brown seems like a shoddy company to me. I won't ever let them near my house again.
Update: The company called me back and told me they could get to our house in a little over 2 months. I've added a star for this call back. I'll update this review after they have honored this promise.
Brown completed our foundation repair and their part of the job seems to be done well, ( previous work done by them 10 years ago is still good), but those that they hired to put my yard & landscaping back did not perform well. On the day of the job, the first person to show up at our house could not speak English which was disconcerting and we were not able to communicate much with him. The office staff was nice & helpful every time that I spoke with them, but they did not adjust our bill as I was told they would do after I spoke to them on 2 separate occasions. I will call them a third time. They were to adjust our payment down $400 for the mess of how the yard was left & the next time that they came out to complete the rest of the house, they were going to try to correct the problem. Lee, who assessed the property & gave us the estimate, was patient, knowledgeable & helpful.
Had Brown Foundation Repair come to my house to do mudjacking work. Since the work was done inside my house, I had questions beforehand about the mess that would be made inside. The office staff was very responsive to my questions which put my mind at ease. When the work started, the project manager, Noe B., and his crew were very meticulous in putting up plastic sheets to prevent dust and dirt from getting everywhere. Noe was also very professional and answered all my questions and concerns. When the work was done, the crew was thorough in cleaning up.
Brown Foundation provided excellent work and stellar customer service for my foundation issues. Lee was professional, on time and always available to answer my questions. My team of Julio Andrade, Elejio Quintana and Miguel Antonio were amazing. They listened to my concerns and did the work that was quoted and then some. When I had concerns after they left, their supervisor, Miguel, was incredibly responsive and sent the guys back the next day to fix the problem. The ladies in the front office were so nice and communicated well. I cannot recommend them enough. It was the most amazing customer service I have had in a very long time!
