Handed personal info over the phone, then told to go online to schedule a consult. Then hung up on when I had an issue with it.
Called their Charlotte office regarding a Chapter 7 and 13 to schedule a consult over the phone. The intake guy asked me about sensitive info regarding marital status, current debt load, and things that should be discussed in the consult...then he refused to set an appointment over the phone and hung up on me when I had an issue with the process. Said "Here is what I can do for you sir... click" Front desk is clearly not the lawyer, but this is not how you handle a client looking to discuss life damaging matters such as a bankruptcy.

Damon has been a complete stress reliever, upon starting my bankruptcy until completing he made the process really easy and simple. Thanks for your feedback. I'm sorry if you felt like we weren't going to get you in quickly enough. We've been blessed to have a lot of great clients set up appointments with us. We usually are able to get people in within a week of when they call. However, all of our consultations meet with me, not a paralegal or support staff. Therefore, I may not be able to get you in the next business day. I'm not sure what you mean when you talk about us rescheduling. Except for some extraordinary situation, we don't do that. Man how great have they been. I communicated most with Matt, and let me tell you he’s so patient. Any problems that arose in my bankruptcy case they had a way out of it . I really didn’t worry the whole process. Trust that they are worth double what they charge! And then some.

This was the hardest decision of my life, when you go thru it, you feel there is no future and you feel like a loser.
