I wish I could give this practice a good review. For as good as a doctor as he is, his staff undoes the entire experience. Scheduling is a mess, and billing is no better. I had to take a surprise drug test the first time I went, and was told everyone had to pay out of pocket for it on their first visit. I have spoken to two other people who have gone to him around the same time, and they had no clue what I was talking about. Mind you, I was not there seeking or have a history of any pain medication issues. I decided to have an injection that they said needed approval from my insurance. I had already checked directly with insurance and was told I did not preapproval. Somehow, it took them two weeks to check, and only had an answer when I followed up with them. They told me they were "just about to call me."
I scheduled an appointment for today for another injection, and realized this morning no one had ever confirmed. I called less than three hours before the scheduled time, and got someone on the phone that sounded half asleep telling me they are canceling appointments. Again, they were "just about to call"....
They offered me Monday or Friday. I explained to them it would likely be months before I was able to take off of work again. So I asked again and was told, "I told you Monday or Friday". I re-explained. I was told to call back in a few months, even after I stated I was in a lot of pain. I asked if they could ask the doctor about a weekend or pm. She said, "That's all I have sweetie". I hung up.
I am floored by the staff's indifference. I understand things happen and appointments change. The thing I am having a hard time understanding is how a team that deals with people in pain, don't seem concerned for them and are dismissive about it.
I am so extremely sorry for your experience today. I apologize for the poor communication and cancellation today due to an experience of vertigo and viral symptoms I had today. I will do everything within my power to rectify the situation and accommodate your scheduling needs.

It's so comforting to know there are still physicians who truly care about their patients. Especially for me to know you for all the pain and physical therapy I've been going through because of 3 botched surgeries on one knee . Your remedies have eased the pain and change in my lifestyle (no more tennis 🎾 and sports that I loved so much) because of the unnecessary infections and cut arteries in my knee from the failed total knee replacement. Require major dental work after an accident, after six months of seeing Dr. Schlesinger, I finally got a second and a third opinion, I was told the work he did was unnecessary and that I was botched. In addition, he made me be the middleman for the insurance claims instead of his office taking care of files and follow ups of pay ent.
I am sorry about your terrible experience. I am not a dentist. You are confusing me with a different doctor.
