I was shocked and deeply disappointed by how I was treated at this office. As someone with a service dog, I expected basic professionalism and respect. Instead, the receptionist was extremely rude and scolded me in a demeaning way. The treatment I received was not only unprofessional, but also made me feel disrespected and unwelcome.
As a woman of color, the way I was spoken to was especially disheartening and unacceptable. No patient should ever be made to feel ashamed or uncomfortable for having a service animal, or for simply existing in the space.
I’m sharing this so others are aware of how patients may be treated here. I truly hope the office takes this feedback seriously and works on training staff in proper communication, ADA compliance, and basic respect.
Posting again since my other review was mysteriously deleted. I had the worse experience at Dr. Reitzen’s office for filler and injectables. The filler was a placebo effect and didn’t even do anything waste of money, and the quality of filler used was probably expired and outdated not a common brand used. The numbing cream also did not numb me was probably expired I felt every needle going through with pain, even dentist have better numbing products. I had a hard time getting appointments as well and the wait time was over an hour past my appointment time scheduled. I left work early for no reason and was there on time but had to wait because they overbooked. I had to go back several visits to get my fillers fixed due to a botch. The doctor doesn’t listen to what the patient wants and uses whatever brands of filler they’re affiliated with or probably sponsored by. My realistic inspiration pictures of influencers that I showed as reference, were laughed at by the doctor. I only came here based on a friend’s referral and it was a terrible experience. I wish I could get a refund. There were so many red flags here and the problem is once you made payment you’re stuck with the doctor until you finish the filler amount paid for. I didn’t want to come back after the first visit and had no choice but had to because the filler amount was paid for. Run far away from this practice for injectables. Their 5 star reviews are fake.
I got a hair transplant from Ms Reitzen and her team on July 30th. Her office is very nice, clean and professional. Dr Reitzen herself is very nice and down to earth, I found it very easy to talk to her. Her team was the same. All very nice. They listened to my requests about how I wanted my hairline etc, and we were able to come up with the perfect hairline for my preferences. Her team worked fast and were very thorough. I felt comfortable and they always made sure I wasnt in pain. If I ever had to do any procedure again, and if Ms Reitzen provided those services, I would definitely choose her again. Thank you 💕
I cannot say enough wonderful things about Dr. Reitzen and the exceptional care I received. From my very first consultation, she was incredibly attentive, taking the time to listen to my concerns, answer all my questions, and thoroughly explain the procedure. She made me feel completely at ease with her professionalism, expertise, and compassionate approach.
The surgery itself went seamlessly, and the level of care I received before, during, and after was truly outstanding. I couldn’t be happier with the results—she exceeded my expectations!
Could not be happier with the results of my facial botox injections by Dr. Reitzen. The entire experience was exceptional from start to finish. Dr. Reitzen took her time to map out my face carefully and recommended the ideal number of units to achieve maximum results. I truly appreciated her attention to detail, and thoroughness. I found Dr. Reitzen to be very precise and intentional. It’s clear she is highly-skilled and committed to high standards.
The fine lines I was concerned with on my face started to noticeably soften very quickly and then continued to completely disappear. Usually my forehead and brows feel heavy after treatment, but this time, the injections didn’t create a heavy or weighed down feeling. As my wrinkles disappeared, my face still felt light and comfortable. The difference in my face has been tremendous. Even my resting lines have disappeared! My face looks relaxed, youthful and refreshed. The results are flawless. Highly recommend!
Dr Reitzen recently operated on me; she fixed my deviated septum and while under performed a rhinoplasty on me. It’s been a week and just got my cast removed today, aside from still being swollen the results are great! I’ve been receiving positive feedback from family and friends. She fixed a bump I had and did NOT bruise at all! People scared me of how I was going to look like a raccoon and so forth, that was not my case. I did not need pain medication after the surgery either, it was uncomfortable, but that is obviously normal! I have already recommended a few people who have been looking for a surgeon for any ENT related issues as well. If you’re coming from around the Tri-State area she is WORTH the drive! I would continue doing so! ❤️
I had a deviated septum and nasal valve collapse surgery with Dr. Reitzen three weeks ago. Although I am only three weeks post-op, my life has improved so much already. For the first time in my life, I can breathe through my nose. I woke up from surgery (before the swelling started) completely in awe because I felt like I could truly breathe for the first time ever.
Each day gets better, my sense of smell has improved a ton since pre-surgery too. I was very nervous to undergo anesthesia and have this surgery done but I am so, so glad I went with Dr. Reitzen. She has been extremely kind, understanding, and knowledgeable. She did not over-promise me any results but she over-delivered, as I am extremely happy. It looks almost the same as my old nose but much better, since the shape of the tip is better and my nose is symmetrical now.
I can't recommend her enough. She has wonderful bedside manner and she did the most incredible job on my surgery. My incision already looks almost undetectable.
The only reason I took a star off was because the wait time once I got into the room was a little long. I’m totally ok with that considering the time and attention that was paid to me. I came into the office after having seen 2-3 other doctors to get a problematic mole removed from a difficult area. Every other plastic surgeon I saw said it was an easy fix and I didn’t need to worry, but they barely looked at the mole in question. Dr Reitzen actually took the time to examine, mark, and explain what would happen and the after effects of surgery. I felt cared for here in a way that rivaled every other doctor I had seen. The results speak for themselves and the area is hardly noticeable anymore. Additionally, the staff here is exceptional. They are so kind and caring and make you feel valued. I can’t recommend Dr Reitzen and her UES staff enough.
for the last year I’ve had so many sinus infections and I’ve been to so many doctors and none of them had answers, but when I visited Dr. Shari, she knew right away what needed to be done she took care of it. I’ve been recovering from my surgery for a little over a week now and I feel brand new with the help of Dr. Shari
Very disappointed with the overall experience (with the doctor and the staff personnel). Bad-mannered, rude, and neglectful. I will definitely not come back here.

Dr. Reitzen is just simply severely competent - not to mention she has impeccable active listening skills coupled with a bed side manner that makes you feel like you’re speaking to an empathetic friend. She ensures she considers and assesses your holistic health picture and current medications to examine any possible relevant crossover or considerations. We need more Dr Reitzen’s in the US health care system.
I broke my nose many years ago causing me to have a deviated septum. Had difficulties breathing and horrific sinuses issues. Didn’t sleep well for years until now. I’m so grateful to have met Dr. Reitzen .
She was determined to fix all my problems and was able to adjust the overall appearance of my nose . I’m more than satisfied with my results and I’m just 2 weeks post -op. I highly recommend her

I love Dr. Reitzen. She performed my rhinoplasty and I'm so so happy with it. Now my nose is functionally and aesthetically perfect. Dr. Reitzen is one of those rare doctors who is not only brilliant but personable. She made me feel at ease during the entire process. Getting my nose done by Dr. Reitzen was one of the best decisions I've ever made. HIGHLY RECOMMEND !!!!
