The DoorDash app/customer service is the worst:( I am disabled & have food delivered at times because I can't drive right now. I have used Doordash several times, there are crazy high hidden fees & when you see your receipt and realize that the amount that they charged you is much more than what it said originally when you placed your order...you tap the "so called help button" and it says," IF YOU CANCEL YOUR ORDER FOR ANY REASON, YOU WILL NOT BE REFUNDED" Wow, great " help ":(

My Dasher physically assaulted my wife we had to file police reports have him arrested. We are in the process of filing a civil suit against DoorDash itself. We’ve contacted them. The state police have contacted them no help of course it’s an outsourced program so we figured we’re gonna take them to court. Their screening process for drivers allows. A lot of drugs drug addict . They’re screening process for drivers allows. A lot of drunks, drug addicts, and criminals. Criminals and undesirable to get jobs there where they cannot get them anywhere else. Beware who you let come to your house.
I ordered 128 ounce of mineral spirit from Benton Harbor Meijers in Michigan. The shopper name was jasmine. Instead of purchasing the 128 ounce bottle, she purchased a 32 ounce bottle for approximately $2.00 cheaper. When I texted her she replied that's the bottle with that price on it. Which is definitely untrue. Is that the new scam their doing through door dash?
I am so extremely disappointed in DoorDash policy. I ordered food for my sister & I and when it was delivered we only received my order. I called the restaurant and he assured me both meals was in their and he even takes photos of each completed orders. So he sent me the photo and sure enough both meals were in there. I then called DoorDash and the woman apologized and was given me a $18.00 credit. I said that wouldn’t be enough so I requested more and she said she would put it through. I looked at my DoorDash account and I didn’t see any credit. So I called and the gentleman said that he was sorry but there’s nothing he could do because I was supposed to follow up in 3 days. This was my 4th day in following up. I said are you kidding me! I said the woman I spoke with the same day this happened didn’t tell me I had to follow up in 3 days. So now I am deleting my DoorDash app. Extremely terrible service.
Doordash has been really disappointing now. They have had a surge in hiring and they don't seem to really care about the type of individuals they are hiring. I know everyone deserves a chance but when I have a unkempt, person who smells like weed, scratching at their body delivery my food, I no longer want the service. I recently had a order delivered and I was missing an item and DoorDash refused to refund me for the time even though I didn't receive the item from the delivery driver. I would take precaution when ordering large amounts and they always tend to forget something and deliver the wrong items if they have multiple deliveries, and getting a refund would probably be hard. My last few orders have been a headache and I will be switching delivery platforms. Doordash is just too much now.
Beware!!! They allow drivers to steal food and do nothing about it. Then won't give full credits or refund back. Customer support used to be helpful. I use the app so much that I used to get sent to their VIP line, still use same amount but get to some outsourced Customer Service department in God knows where and they always say they can't help. Done! Canceled membership!
I’m very upset with DoorDash. I have been a member of DoorDash for years I even have dash pass. I have been receiving unacceptable food burnt food orders that wasn’t mine and then when I called today for a refund, they say I have been abusing the why not hold these restaurants accountable for their poor work and food so this is why I’m leaving this review because I felt like it was wrong and then you took my money today and with no food
I ordered food and the Door dasher delivered to the wrong address. When I called the customer support line, I told the representative that I had texted the dasher and told them they delivered to the wrong address. The dasher texted me back and apologized and said he would let the company know it was his mistake and would tell them to refund the bill. I had a difficult time understanding the representative due to an accent and asked to speak with a manager. She never let me speak to the manager, she spoke to them while I was on hold. The manager came on the line and said she was denying a refund, it was final and non-negotiable and hung up. This was without benefit of any further review or consideration that their delivery person admitted to making a mistake. When you look at the GPS map where the food was delivered you can clearly see it was not my address.
Customer service is the absolute worst. I contacted them regarding an incorrect order and they refused to help. I was told I would receive an email or phone call and I never did. They got paid and all of their fees and refused to credit the difference in cost for the item that was incorrect. I've deleted my app and refuse to ever use them again. Their fees are ridiculous but customer service is the absolute worst.
I order an entree and side dish regularly from a restaurant. It's hit or miss for the side dish. Sometimes they don't have it, even though it's on the menu. To their credit, DD has refunded me in the past when the wrong item was sent instead. However, without warning that there is a limit to this practice, my refund request was denied due to account history. I asked for this one-time consideration now that I know not to order it again. Denied. They have no appreciation for customer goodwill to refund such a small amount for them. >:-(
Placed a $200 order for lunch at work and received less than half of the order, the driver drove off when i thought he was retrieving another bag from his trunk. No response from the driver when I called several times and sent messages we didn't have the full order. DoorDash customer service refused a refund for the items we didn't receive claiming that the restaurant said we they completed the order. I drove to the restaurant with the half of the order I had, and the store manager quickly appeared with TWO additional bags in hand stating the driver left without all of the order and said they haven't spoken to anyone with DoorDash. DoorDash is basically theft of servicing everyone using them and not refunding them when they don't get their items, in addition to charging more than the store/restaurant, plus all of the service fees, plus all of the drivers complaining in local pages consumers need to tip more because Door Dash doesn't pay well. All in all, Cancelling the Dash Pass, our monthly meals as a team will no longer be delivered, and I will NEVER use Door Dash again. They took over $200 for a few beverages and roughly 20 chicken tenders with fries.
