Previous review was deleted? The Check up Checkmate Fiasco
Long story short - I discovered my heart medication prescription would not be renewed without first having a check-up. I immediately made the appointment when I learned of this but it was scheduled a month out. I had no medication and figured the Doctor would write a temporary prescription (about 20 days) to get me through until the required check-up. Nope. I've made 4 calls, 4 messages on the Klara app, and 4 in the patient portal. I am still no closer to resolving the fact that I am out of heart medication. A nurse told me to take the medication consistently and never to skip doses due to the risk of a stroke. But I have to go without, perhaps, until I get the check-up. No one can say whether the doctor will eventually write a temporary fill. Had I known a check-up was required, I would have made the appointment in advance. Still, even if it was on me to understand the protocol, the response to deal with the mishap has been bad. They have no solid process for escalating a situation. It seems more like -- "hey this is your problem -- we'll see if the doctor can do anything". In the mean time, I hope I am not at risk for anything.
Derry Medical Center never lets me down. They’re efficient, professional and friendly. Dr Dreffer really listens to his patients. The parking lot is often very full & I am expecting a long wait before being seen, but that is rarely the case. I’ve stuck with DMC over many years and I highly recommend them!
I’ve been going to DMC for as long as I can remember . Starting with Dr Lynch . My experience is always great . Staff is friendly and accommodating. I’m now a patient of Dr Wheeler and couldn’t be happier . Grateful to have a place so close
We had a good experience some years back but this place has become a risk to your health. They push telephone appointments and deny in person visits if you have even one symptom that could be Covid! So far they have wrongly diagnosed my wife, gave her wrong antibiotics as the doctor could not check her physically. Although the doctor stated she wanted to see her and was shocked she was denied an in person visit. 3 weeks pass and my wife's health continues to get worse. Again denied an in person visit, even though covid test was negative. Finally went to Urgent Care in Londonderry and the doctor diagnosed my wife with severe sinus infection that have caused bronchitis due to wrong treatment. How many will die because of this administration at DMC at Derry NH?

Hello David. I would like to learn what happened with your wife. If she is the patient and would like to discuss this with us, please ask her to give me a call at 603-537-3021. We take patient feedback very seriously and would like to look into this for her. Thanks very much for bringing this to our attention. Stephanie
Unprofessional from the people who answer the phone to the doctors and the office. They are rude, unconscionabe with little help in any single way. Especially unworkable is the behavioral health component of this company. They do not get messages to the doctor they do not call back in a timely manner. And when in a emotional health crisis they do not return phone calls at all.
After 20+ years with this practice, it's clear that despite their size, they have completely lost any priority on customer service. Impersonal, arrogant responses show they they have grown too big to be helpful
