Gate Rectification
We had a set of gates fitted some time ago, they became miss aligned and needed to be rectified, I wrote a review complaining about the time it was taking, since then the company have been in touch explaining about the delay and I fully appreciated the reason
The gates have now been fixed and we are extremely happy with the result.

Several months ago we ordered a pair of gates for our home mainly for security reasons.
The gates were measured and fitted and the company did a great job and we were very happy with the end product.
However after several weeks one of the gates moved slightly making it hard to lock them, I contacted them and asked if it could be rectified, I was informed that we were on the list of jobs to be done.
Several months and several more calls and emails later the gate has still to be rectified with the same explanation offered.
With the gates being unable to be locked they are as good as useless, we are still waiting for a visit or a date for the work to be carried out, which is a pity as the quality of work at the time of fitting was very good.
We chose DK Metal Fabrications Ltd to do our sliding gate on our property in early 2023 communication was good from the start and was given a fair price to do the job
A couple of months down the line, we noticed the gate being slightly wobbly, and called them and as we had one pending task with them they could sort that out too but in the end didn't get sorted out so we are waiting to get this inspected just to see if this is a common issue
Another issue was created through no fault of their own, as we had tradesman around a lot and using the gate, someone had broken the mechanism that opens the gate manually so consequently the open and closing of the gate automatically as been affected and it's not as smooth
We called DK to come and repair and was quoted £350 which we were happy to pay as we know these types of requests would not come under warranty/guarantee but there was slow responsiveness and nobody came and after continuous chasing and follow ups, there was no response at all
We also didn't mind paying for some annual maintenance but now the after sales customer service, this has meant we are hesitant to use them again unless we get some quick resolution
We had a back gate fitted with DK Metal Fabrications. The whole process from start to finish was managed well by Zack. He was professional, punctual, reliable and did a great job. We are very happy with his work and would not hesitate to recommend him and his company.
Unreliable. Committed to pick up a garden gate for a sand and repaint. Messaged me 20 mins before arriving to the location so I assumed it was picked up. Then he messages 11 hours later saying it didn’t fit in his car. Complete time waster.

Hi Nibras, unfortunately all 3 of our vans were in use. We sent one of our staff at 6:30am to collect the gate in an alternative vehicle but it could not fit inside. Our colleague then made his way to his next job for the day and yes unfortunately on this occasion the colleague forgot to make you aware until later in the day when we realised he had not yet messaged you to make you aware. We apologise for this and are happy to collect the gate at an alternative time when one of our vans is available.

We had a gate installed to match our existing balustrades. Everything from quotation to completion has been very smooth and efficient. Zack and his team are professional and friendly. They did a really nice job installing our new gate, which looks great. I would highly recommend them!

We had asked for a gate for our front garden, we had specific details that we wanted to add and remove from our original sketch, what a wonderful team they are! They always put us first and fixed anything. They are the friendliest, kindest people. I am so pleased with the customer service, the response to our needs, and of course the product itself. Our gate is beautiful and it’s exactly what we wanted.

Garden furniture repair

I’ll keep it nice and short, I was confused on who to choose for my gates, once I contacted this company, they treated me like a Luxury client and completed the works to a quality standard.
Appreciated the swift responses and communication. Had 2 small railings done, very informative on what options we have to get it powder coated. Very professional and stuck to the timings they said it will take to supply and install.
