Best top surgery ever!!!!
- Super efficient and always respectful of my time. I never got stuck in the waiting room forever. I also always felt like I was being treated with respect and he valued my input on what I wanted the results to look like.
- I scheduled my consultation in march, had my consultation in april and got surgery at the earliest available date in november, not a bad waiting list length at all.
- The office was so helpful and responsive with insurance and fmla paperwork.
- My top surgery was very affordable with my insurance and being in network.
- Results look great and the actual procedure only took about an hour and change.
- Gave me everything I needed for post op recovery.
- Nipple grafts included so you don't have to deal with the nightmare of getting insurance to cover them.
If he is in network for you there is no reason not to. I would also really recommend this to anyone who wants this surgery but is nervous or confused about coordinating everything to make it happen. Dr. Ramineni's team was very clear with me and made me feel a lot more comfortable even though I had never had surgery before.

I am a Black woman and an ally of the LGBTQ+ community. Dr. Ramineni comes highly recommended within their circles, and seeing how particular those patients are, and how great their results look, gave me confidence in choosing him for my own procedures.
Pricing: His fees are generally comparable to others in the area. The major cost difference occurs when a procedure must be performed at GW Hospital instead of the surgery center; in some cases, hospital fees can increase the total cost by 50% or more depending on the surgery.
Over the past two years, I’ve had several procedures with Dr. Ramineni: rhinoplasty (still early in healing), under-eye bag removal (excellent results), chin lipo (I hoped for a more sculpted jawline, but he explained I would have excess skin—so the outcome aligned with expectations), and Lipo 360 (amazing results; now I just need to maintain them). Overall, I’ve been very pleased. I plan to return for breast augmentation, additional lipo, and potentially an earlobe correction in early 2026.
Dr. Ramineni: Exceptionally skilled across a wide range of procedures. He speaks quickly, but he is extremely knowledgeable and responsive—he even answers emails on weekends.
Katie-PA: Less personable and more direct, but she is Dr. Ramineni’s right hand in the operating room and throughout the office.
Chavonne: Wonderful energy, very personable, and always helpful, especially with billing or administrative questions.
Front Desk: Friendly overall, though they can occasionally seem distracted when talking among themselves. Not a major issue, but worth noting.
This dr. needs to be sued. He openly admits he makes mistakes and charges the patient to fix it. As if someone would trust him again

I don't charge any procedural fees for revisional surgery. However, if someone wants a different procedure, we do charge for that. For example if a patient had a tummy tuck, but then wanted and breast lift at a different date, we would charge for that, like all other surgical practices.

I am so thrilled and happy to have gone to Dr. Ramineni for my surgery for BA, along with tummy tuck. He made me feel so welcomed, answered all my questions, walked through his approach for my surgery and made me feel calm before surgery. His bedside manner was incredible, along with his wonderful staff who helped out like Katie, Chavvone, Maria and the GWU staff. He pays attention to extreme detail, where his extensive experience shows for itself along with amazing results. I’m less than a week in post surgery and amazed at his work on me. My boyfriend who took care of me loved his welcomeness and appreciated answering all his questions on post op care. Thank you for helping me achieve my results!!
I completed a consultation today with Dr. Praful and upon arrival, the staff at the front desk was very friendly and acknowledging. Sitting and speaking with Dr. Praful, he was extremely helpful and understanding of my needs, concerns, and situation. The knowledge of my procedure was helpful, and that made me feel I will definitely be in the best of care. I left the District Plastic Surgery Center very satisfied and filled with great enthusiasm and excitement for my new look.

My experience with Dr. Ramineni, Physician Assistant Katie Leemaster, and the rest of the staff at District has been absolutely amazing!!! 10 stars if I could!! I have already passed along their information to several close friends and colleagues.

This was my first visit with Dr. Ramineni and his staff, and I must say I was impressed how quickly and efficiently things were handled. Dr. Remineni was very easy to talk to and easy to build a rapport with. I have been to several surgical consultations and It was clear he knew what he was talking about. Highly recommend.
I am incredibly happy with the results of my top surgery (FTM) procedure :) Dr. Ramineni and his staff were incredible throughout the whole process! From my initial consult, to the actual surgery, to the follow-ups — Dr. Ramineni’s staff made everything very easy. I can’t recommend them enough! Immensely thankful for the work they do :)
Update (8/28/25): Had a follow-up procedure with Dr. Ramineni and it was quick, easy, and comfortable. Dr. Ramineni has awesome bedside manners! He’s attentive, compassionate, very informative, and communicates procedures in a way that I can understand.
