Another fascinating session last night, David Garthwaite's tutorial on fine art processing to produce stunning architectural images was very impressive for someone only 5 years into photography! It was also helpful to get his post event package of information and also having the opportunity to relook at his presentation on catch-up via our club website in due course.
I attended one of David's presentation. He was so helpful, patient and professional - there were no questions he didn't answer. Throughout the presentation it was clear that David is passionate about photography and his work but also passionate about teaching! If you feel like you need a photography 1 to 1, don't waste your time searching, David is the go to guy!
Our club recently had a video presentation by David, talking us through his image style and some of the techniques he uses in post processing. It was universally enjoyed and the follow up by David was excellent too. Highly recommended.

David gave Chester Photographic Society his presentation on Fine Art: A Workflow. As well as sharing many superb examples of his work with us, David demonstrated some of the basic techniques he uses and shared some of his thinking process. His presentational style is excellent and feedback from our members has been very positive.
David's virtual presentation was on "Fine Art" and post production using Photoshop. Our members, Morriston Camera Club Swansea, were impressed by the amount of information he shared with us so much so many members have started using some of his methods already.
We can highly recommend his presentation and we will be keeping in contact with him.

An excellent practical lecture about using Photoshop to create interesting atmospheric images starting from a standard straight from camera photograph. David's step by step workflow approach was easy to follow with lots of helpful hints and interaction with the audience. David showed how a seemingly bland object such as a metal bridge could be turned into a fantastic piece of fine art.
David gave a fantastic talk to Harpenden Photographic Society last month with a much appreciated demonstration of his workflow in creating his gorgeous monochrome fine art images of urban architecture. Feedback from our members has been very positive and I'd highly recommend this presentation.

David gave a masterclass presentation to the members of the Dublin Camera Club. As part of the presentation he showed some of his wonderful images but he took most of the time to give a practical demonstration of how he produced one of his images. It was certainly a great learning experience for our members.
Many thanks to David for this

Many thanks for a most excellent and informative talk at Edinburgh Photographic Society tonight.
I think our members will wear out the Zoom recording as you were simply fantastic. So informative and delivered so well.
We will follow your progress closely and will be delighted to invite you back again in the future.
More power to you!
Keep up the good work both behind camera and at the NHS.
Warm Regards,

David gave a presentation on the workflow for his fine art architectural images to Killarney camera club on 6/5/2021. His images are amazing and his presentation was detailed and comprehensive. He was very generous with sharing the techniques he uses to achieve the results he gets and we all had a really enjoyable evening. We found him to be an inspiring teacher and photographer and would recommend him to other clubs.
