Bought a used 240k 760 Haines Hunter consignment boat, owner removed it from sale.
Destiny Marine won’t refund my deposit even though the cancellation of sale was beyond my control.
The Marine industry is a very small place, everyone knows everyone and reputation is everything. This will end up costing you 10 fold.

Our decision to retain your deposit after you cancelled the sale, only to actually purchase a month later despite us being flexible on timeframes, spending time on water test and storing the boat while you were arranging your finance is completely justified.

Have picked up a brand new van and had an issue with one side of the brakes failing and was talked to like an idiot on the phone an hour after leaving and calling up with the issue, to then be told I am to pay for the transportation of the van too and from and seek compensation and that I would be contacted an hour after talking yesterday. No follow up phone call, I have proceeded to call back before close of business yesterday and several times today.
Still no call back or accepting my incoming calls to sort this issue out and meant to be taking the brand new van away this weekend. Disgraceful service as a business.

We purchased a boat, and during the first outing, we identified serious safety concerns. The shop acknowledged the issue and took the boat back for repairs. However, on the second trip, the problems were significantly worse. We have since requested a refund, but the seller is now claiming there is nothing wrong with the vessel.

As you know we have gone above and beyond for you and even picked up your boat from Ipswich and then returned it to make it easier for you. We have comprehensively tested your boat with two fully qualified technicians, the owner of Bluefin Boats and me all driving the boat to try and identify any problems. We videoed the entire test and even invited you to accompany us on that test. The boat was found not only to be safe but in fact performed beyond our expectations given what had been described by you. You agreed in a phone conversation after viewing to the video to collect the boat and I took time out of my Sunday to open up and allow access for you to pick your boat up. What a Fabulous Experience! Just purchased a New Polycraft warrior cc and wanted to say thank you to all at Destiny. Paul and Todd were extremely helpful in all facets of the purchase. Todd's knowledge in how to structure the additions i wanted and his great advice was extremely appreciated. Glenn and his team in the workshop are pedantic perfectionists and very helpful !!! And to top it off all the additions and fitting costs were extremely competitive. Leah worked very hard for your caravan to be in your hands. We can see many points of communication had. Via phone call, emails and on the portal Andrew. We also see she replied first thing in the morning after her one day off and also rang you personally to clarify so we are disappointed in this review. We request that you update your 1 star rating to a true rating understanding though that it won't be 5 stars.

Dropped into the office to look at a New Age caravan. The salesman Phil tried to pressure us to make a decision on a $70k purchase immediately. Promised a few options to entice us to buy but we needed time to think about the purchase.
We called back a couple of days later seeking to buy but Phil told us his offer is no longer on the table and that we can take the caravans “as is” but we need to come back to the office to talk about the purchase.
We told him we would come back later but when we decided to go with another agent (due to the attitude of Phil) he just hung up on us. Really rude and arrogant person who needs to get out of sales its not for you Phil!!
If we could give 10 stars we would!
