We moved our retirement funds from Edward Jones to Decker Retirement Planning a little over a year ago. We had heard about the "Decker Approach" and were intrigued. We met with Brian to discuss his strategies in creating a solid retirement plan, as we are in our early sixties. We are so glad we did! Our experience has been one of relief as our retirement dollars have been allocated in ways to eliminate any worries that market fluctuation could create havoc as we transition into retirement. Our plan is based on principal guaranteed products, income tax strategies and growth potential managed in ways to have advantage in upside and downside market trends. At Decker, we have experienced total transparency as they are financial planning fiduciaries, who's purpose is putting our interests first; rather than advocating investment products loaded with fees or inappropriate for our needs. Bait and switch. As seeks retiree to come with family to plan out retirement but then asks people who are adults to sit outside while they talk to seniors that have already given control and power of attorney to children. Either trying to take advantage of elderly or just looking for quick cash. This was my response email from them when I explained my father in law can’t come without me due to this. “I’m sorry you feel the need to reply this way. We work with clients when trust and respect is given and received. Threats of bad reviews for breaking policy will not build trust and respect. The invitation outlined that we encourage retirees and individuals close to retirement, no bait and switch. Sincerely, Jake Decker” Don’t do business with them.
