Fair warning
I’m just giving a fair warning to whoever is using this app. I’ve been using this app for almost a year now. I make my payments on time every week and starting last week all of sudden they can’t link my bank. I talked to plaid and they said the issue is dave not us. They said they support BMO banking. I’ve talked to 10 agents from Dave and all they do is hang up! I repeat do not use this app.

Not There When Needed
I have had this app for a bit and sometimes it helps out but many other times it simply will not. Its calculation on whether you qualify seems random at best and I seem to have been locked out for over a month now with no answer as to why. It’s maddening. So a solid 3 as it does help sometimes…just not often.

This app is a scam
Whatever you do do not borrow money from these people I settled my advance twice and both times they said I didn’t pay it and it still shows on the app that I owe them money on another instance they took $85 out of my account that they said was towards in advance which never actually applied to it and still took out $213 I am now around 600 something dollars in the hole that they said they returned but now also say that I owe and never paid back do not use this app

Started great, till it wasn’t
We loved this app when we first found it. It had helped us out of a tight spot more than once and we finally put our paycheck on it. Now, instead of two days early, it keeps coming later and later and later. The last time, it was a day past when he should have been paid even using a traditional bank. Because of this, it has put us in more tight spots than it’s helped us out of.

I first used Dave bc I needed money- I opened up an account and moved money from my regular Bank of America to Dave for a savings account I use for Christmas gifts. It gives 4% interest. App easy to use

Cancel membership
If I could give less than a 1 review, I would. Have been trying to cancel membership for almost a year. These people have not been trying to cancel my membership and I have over 120 emails back and forth of me trying to cancel. Just CANCEL MY MEMBERSHIP!

Horrible app
Customer service has limited knowledge on how to resolve issues within the app. In order to receive a higher advance, you need to setup direct deposit with them. I was eligible for an advance when I first downloaded the app. Repaid the settlement onetime and every day since I have been ineligible. Customer service is unable to fix this issue or provide a resolution. They charged me a membership fee to do absolutely NOTHING! Horrible app!! Do not download!!!!
