It was my second visit back to Danny’s. The first was when they just opened, and was really impressed with the dishes. Our server Sirce was great, checked in on us multiple times, and made sure we had everything we needed. Had a great experience and will be back.
Favorite dishes: fried chicken, agnolotti, bolognese
Space with great vibe, chic but cozy — great service. Waiter was helpful and gave suggestions. The kale salad appetizer was incredible - flavorful filled with great crunch from the cabbage. Pasta was the favorite entree dish ordered of the group. The burger is fine, would opt for another dish as it’s quite tall and hard to bite into. Overall recommend Danny’s!
Danny’s
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I had such a great time at Danny’s on 46 W 22nd Street! The moment I walked in, I loved the old-school vibe with cozy banquettes, faded photos, and that beautiful hand-painted mural—it felt like stepping back in time.
The food was incredible. I couldn’t get enough of the Brioche-Crusted Halibut with bouillabaisse and confit potatoes, and the House Cheeseburger was juicy and flavorful. Even the Rosemary Fried Chicken was crispy perfection. I also loved exploring their cocktail menu and the all-American wine list—it’s so cool how they highlight wines from underappreciated states like Virginia, Texas, New York, and Michigan.
Danny’s is perfect whether you’re grabbing a casual dinner or celebrating something special. I’ll definitely be coming back!
I’ve been to Danny’s several times now, and every visit has been a great experience. The food is consistently excellent—everything I’ve ordered has been a hit
The kale salad is hands down the best salad I’ve ever had (my friends agree)—even if you’re not a kale fan, it’s a must-order. The hot pockets are a fun standout too—an elevated (and much tastier) take on what we all grew up with. The fried chicken is incredibly light and not greasy at all, and the hot biscuits that come with it practically melt in your mouth.
I’d also highly recommend the burger (a classic done perfectly) and the Hamachi Crudo, which is fresh, flavorful, and presented in a unique way. If you're not into burgers or steak, order the branzino!
And if you’re into dirty martinis, their olive brine is especially good.
Beyond the food, the service really sets this place apart. Everyone—from the front of house to the kitchen—is warm, welcoming, and genuinely helpful with recommendations.
Highly recommend—10/10.
