My wife requested this company to remove some mold that started to build up in the bathroom, and last week two men were sent who, upon arrival, started to make nasty comments about our house. They continued for a while and once my wife had enough of it she called out the behaviour and demanded an apology from them. Nevertheless, it was already too late given the awful experience of listening to them talking bad. Moreover, for mold clean up, it is strongly recommended to use a full-face respirator/mask because mold spores affect and can enter the body through the nose, mouth and eyes. One of the two guys didn’t even wear any kind of mask while doing his work but he did feel entitled to complain and throw nasty comments about our house/personal belongings, as well as how it was set up whilst doing his job... So, although they did do a good job, they didn’t have any sense of respect and professionalism. Hence, we’ll never hire this company again.

I spoke to few businesses before because of the damp in the flat I rent. Each time I was getting different answers to my questions and the quotes my landlord couldn’t pay. Micken was friendly, patient and professional from start to end. He was actually listening to what we needed with the great result and job done quickly for the price my landlord was happy with. I would choose Damp & Mould Solutions again for their competence, knowledge, great customer service and a personal touch.

Noticed a damp issue in our first floor bedroom and contacted Micken. He was friendly and professional and arrived promptly for the appointment. He carried out a detailed evaluation of the issue, offered sage advice and even recommended a wonderful Roofer (A Whittaker Roofing) to help with the problem. The quote Micken supplied was very reasonable and fair and will be hopefully soon asking him and his team to carry out the works needed.

Micken and his team were really good from start to finish, we required our rental property to have rising damp treatment, due to on-going water damage, Micken explained the full scope of works to be carried out, the workmen were very tidy and clean after each day was completed. Once the work was completed, Micken requested to meet me on site to go over all the work completed and plus some extras which he explained he did not charge me for. Cheaper than other quotes I received. Very genuine company, would highly recommend and use again.

Micken from Damp and Mould Solutions gave me quote for work needs to be done in my house. It was quite expensive £1800 for not a big job ,when I asked why so expensive he explained they will use special materials Sika . Then I said okay as I know material is expensive. They arrived on time , they work 3 hours first day and two on the second day , they decided to use sand and cement cheapest material on the market.I guess they thought I wouldn’t notice 🤔 I paid half before they started and another half I should pay after they finished. When I raise questions why he used cheapest material Micken said they decided on the day to change it. Why was necessary ruined my new floor he said they investigate it but they haven’t done no work on the floor. Re: materials : not true they they decided on the day they already brought with them. They ruined my 4 square meters new oak floor unnecessarily. So I’m waiting when Micken will take me to court he lying to me regarding material. I told Micken I could do sand and cement by myself, I hire them to believe they will use special materials to prevent future problems. Stay away!

I chose to go with this company due to their patience and professionalism in answering all of my many questions. The work was done promptly and to a very good standard.
