DA Builders Reviews

DA builders recently completed extensive work at our property repointing the entire house. Dave used lime materials to prevent damp issues. He worked in a timely manner, communicating all needs and solving problems as they arose. He completed wall ties, new fascia and drains as well as repainting difficult to reach windows while scaffolding was up. He is a highly competent workman with fair transparent quotes and fair pricing structure. The property now looks beautiful. Dave is trustworthy and reliable and I would highly recommend DA builders for brick work repointing fascia, soffits , gutters and all types of other building work he may offer. He will tell the truth, and work to a high standard. You will be in safe hands.

Dave (& Tyler) repointed all four walls of our house. Both easy to have around our home, impeccably tidy (as far as possible given the nature of the work), extremely professional and flexible (working with others and taking on extra work) and conscientious. A lengthy project made so much easier by Dave’s great approach to the task. We’re really pleased with the result.

First class in every respect from initial discussion and assessment, inspiring confidence from obvious knowledge of the "building world" resulting in a sensible quotation, kept fully updated throughout, totally reliable, amiable and certainly hard working with justifiable pride of a job well done - and to my complete satisfaction.

Had DA Builders repoint a patio which had been laid last year and which, in spite of two subsequent visits by the original contractor, had not been satisfactory. Dave and Mark came in, removed the old pointing, relaid a few slabs which were not secure, and repointed the whole patio and also our front steps. The job was carried efficiently and tidily and the patio now looks as it should have done in the first place. We are delighted with the result and would not hesitate to recommend D A Builders.

The South Facing Elevation to my property was in much need of Repointing and D.A Builders provided an excellent service at what I considered a very reasonable price. They arrived on the agreed date to start and completed a timely repair. The team were efficient and worked very cleanly and on completion of the works left everything as it should be making sure the area was brushed and washed down. I personally will use the company should I need work doing in the future. Well done and Thank you.

Needed a company at short notice to do some repointing while we had scaffolding up. Luckily David was able to help. While he was here he repaired stonework, which had weathered badly & cracked - the difference after they'd done the work was incredible. It was like it was when the house was built 100+ years ago. You’d never know it had just been done it looks that authentic/original. Nothing is too much trouble for these guys. They do brilliant work at a reasonable price. I’d have them back like a shot if I need more done.

Good communication, and honest opinions made for an easy project. Dave repointed my period property with the correct Lime mortar, whilst replacing a large number of damaged bricks and wall ties. We discussed the requirements before and during the work, nothing was a surprise and everything seems to have been completed in a professional and timely manner.

I contacted them on-line and got a very quick response followed by a visit and quote within a few days. I got a good price for a biggish repointing job and agreed to go ahead. Scheduled for August 2019 and scaffolding duly erected. Dave and Mark started and worked very hard and job completed in a timely manner. They were friendly and easy to talk to and kept me updated. They were very well organised clean and tidy and kept disruption to a minimum. The quality of work was excellent and I am delighted with the end product. I have no hesitation highly recommending them
