Wonderful people, marvelous place! I fully recommend the Center! It’s a must for every culture and history enthusiast, but also for an average Joe. The people there are very kind and open hearted, they are a great source of knowledge about the Turkish culture, about Islam and Suleymani Mosque. I was gifted with a beautiful album about the mosques in Istanbul and a great shopping bag. (guys, I’ll be using that all the time, I love it!) The Center is located in a magnificent old Ottoman style building, where you can feel most welcomed thanks to a hospitality of the charming hosts! I hope that my paths with Fatih and other volunteers will cross again because they are absolutely fantastic human beings. Cheers!

Nett & Gastfreundlich Die Leute sind sehr nett. Es sind freiwillige liebe Menschen die immer türkischen Tee und ein Lächeln bereit haben. Außerdem wird die Tür jedem geöffnet, der klingelt. Sie setzten das islamische "Vakif"-Prinzip um, in dem man dem/der Reisenden etwas zu essen anbietet und ihm/ihr Gastfreundlichkeit zeigt. Super Ho visitato questa splendida moschea nel 2019 e ho avuto la fortuna di incontrare Abdullatif: ha spiegato a me e al mio ragazzo tutto sulla moschea, sulla religione e sulla cultura islamica aprendoci ancora di più gli occhi su una cultura meravigliosa. Abdullatif ci ha conquistati con il suo modo gentile, curioso, vivace di raccontarci la sua diversità rispetto a noi. Davvero un'esperienza unica, che ripeterei immediatamente. A chance to learn and relax in the shadow of Suleymaniye Camii A welcoming place for the curious visitor, just a couple of minutes from Suleymaniye Camii, with a Byzantine cistern visible through a glass floor, a beautiful relaxing lounge overlooking the bluish grey domes of Suleymaniye Camii, decorated with unique Islamic art (that you will want to acquire), topped with a shaded garden. Most importantly: the Center is run by gracious volunteers who will help you navigate their beautiful city and pick up first hand knowledge about their way of life. This turned out to be a great opportunity to have authentic conversations with Turks and people from all over the world. The tea, baklava and Turkish lunch were just icing on the cake.

Beautifull Mosque and extraordinary volunteers I am so happy and thankful that we met Betul while visiting Suleymaniye Mosque. She told us not only about the Mosque, but also about Islam and Istanbul. She also had answers for all of our questions about islam and mosques. Eventhought we were tired because of walking whole day, we could listen Betul for hours, she is so interesting and has a great personality. Wish that we had more time to spend with her and other volunteers. Istanbul became even better place in our hearts because of Betul and this beautifull experience ❤️

Сегодня случайно побывали и остались невероятные, тёплые, приятные и незабываемые впечатления. Однозначно рекомендуем это место всем туристам, кто интересуется историей. В мечете нам повезло и с нами заговорили волонтёры Осман и Эмина, предложили задать интересующие нас вопросы о истории, мечетях, Стамбуле. После этого пригласили нас в их центр, где мы пили очень вкусный чай с турецкими сладостями и разговаривали на разные темы. В самом конце нам подарили подарки в виде памятных кружек и Корана на русском языке (мы были невероятно благодарны). Красивое место с прекрасным видом. Настоящее турецкое гостеприимство и душевные люди. Это действительно уникальный центр, где очень начитанные, культурные и умные люди помогут вам лучше узнать историю или просто побеседовать на любые темы. Suleymaniye Cultural Info Center Experience November 2020 What a surprise and fantastic hospitality provided by Mr. Fatih Ozkan (Project Coordinator) whom I met during his volunteering program at Suleymaniye Mosque. Mr. Fatih has offered us detailed literature about Suleymaniye Mosque and invited us to Suleymaniye Cultural Info Center for a Turkish tea, baklava and the most important TALK! We were presented with a very important books in our religion and I do recommend people to visit the Cultural Center to learn more about Islam! People, you must know that Islam is a peaceful religion as all other religions in the world, so, if you plan to visit Suleymaniye Mosque, please visit Suleymaniye Cultural Info Center to know more about Islam. Remember: the more you know, the more people you worth!

Advice to visit We are from Russia. We were afraid to enter the mosque because we were afraid to do something wrong, we were afraid that someone would take it as an insult and be aggressive towards us. It's so good that we visited Sulimanie! There we met a volunteer named Fatih. He kindly gave us an excursion and shared some interesting literature. Then he invited us to the center, where we were treated to coffee and baklava. It is very pleasant that people absolutely disinterestedly shared their benefits with us, even gave us a gift! They refused gratitude in the form of money. In a conversation with Fatih, we dispelled all our fears in relation to Islam, a beautiful culture. Thanks to Fatih for the informative conversation, thanks to the organizers of the center and sponsors for such a wonderful idea, which is aimed at merging and understanding different cultures. I will suggest you to stop here and see the great videos and taste the delicious traditional Turkish coffee or the traditional turkish tea that they will share with you to spend a beautiful moment learning from local turkish staff about what is a regular life in turkey istambul.

Kind and warm welcome We had a very interesting conversation with a volunteer in Suleymaniye Mosquée where we asked many questions about the religion, after which he invited us to the Cultural Info Center to share lunch. There we were warmly welcomed by the other center volunteers and met other tourists invited to the lunch. During lunch, we discussed everything, religions, cultures, even programming (there is one professor in AI). After lunch, they refused to take any financial contributions from us. I can say that I will definitely come back to the Center and I'd love to meet these guys again.
