This was an incredibly positive and rewarding experience from start to finish. Everything was clear, well-structured, and easy to engage with, which made the entire process feel smooth and stress-free. So far, my experience with Crockett Doodles has not been what I had hoped for. We were not allowed to meet our puppy ahead of time. We were not offered to see her parents or where she was bred. And we were not told that she needed to go to our vet right after we got her to continue her vaccinations. We were told she would be vet checked that week, microchipped and up to date on vaccines. Our vet said she could come in 3 weeks later. Now we’ve had her 3 weeks and she hasn’t had vaccines for 6 weeks. Paying as much as we did for this dog, they should have let us know every single thing we needed to do. They seem to produce a lot of puppies and I worry about them being a bit of a puppy mill situation. At least she is rescued with us. On a positive note, she is the sweetest most well behaved little girl and we love her to pieces.

We spent close to two years researching and talking to dog parents before deciding to go with Crockett Doodles. We now understand why they came so highly recommended.
For starters the process is so easy. We were able to make a deposit and then wait a year until it was the right time to bring a puppy into our home. The background and questionnaire were through enough to stop people buying a on whim but also not so cumbersome that it felt like an FBI to secret clearance background check.
Once approved, the entire time we waited we got updates of new litters based on what we wanted.
They are a network of small family breeders so you get the small family breeder environment for your pup with greater selection and availability.
We picked a medium size goldendoodle and could not be happier.
They use a transition home which gives her time away from her mom and made our transition easier.
Once picked they made it easy to pay, schedule a pick up time or delivery if you choose (I highly recommend picking them up so you have time to bond during what can be a scary time for your pup and for the transition home pickup experience)
We drove close to 9 hours to get her and she was a joy on the ride home due to the level of care and attention she got.
The family at the transition home was waiting for us with plenty of gifts, instructions and took pictures to help us remember the moment.
They let us know a few days prior the vet notice a small but extremely common issue with goldendoodles and hernia.
They immediately let us know and took $200 off. We consulted with out vet who was shocked they informed us and they took money off since its so common.
They dogs come healthy and backed up by a 12 year health guarantee (our vet couldn't believe it until they read it! you do have to provide pet insurance and feed go food with a preferred company to get all 12 years see website for details but still our vet was shocked they were willing to stand behind their pups that much)
At our pups first health check at home the vet said this breeder was great based on the health check up and the hernia was so small they are surprised they mentioned it.
The communication and guides on their website make it a breeze for first time or like use a few year gap since our last puppy to know how to prepare.
Our puppy has been an angel and her demeaner trumps what friends have gotten from breeders that charge twice as much and want a blood sample, 500 questions, sworn oath along with 100 recommendations, a detailed background check (hyperbole on the requirements but seriously its easer to drive a car, get a hunting permit, drive a boat or have a kid than it is for some place to let you adopt a dog and that is coming from a couple that adopted our daughter, a human) before they let you adopt a dog from them.
Last I love that they included a Bible in our gift bag along with the verses on some paperwork. Gloria Deo!
If we ever adopt another dog we will only use Crockett and will start highly recommending them like so many others did for us.

My Cavapoo Axel has the sweet eyes and that did it for me, he was born July 4th My granddaughters Birthday, And that in itself did it for me.. From the inquiry to being paired with him to delivery was an outstanding experience 😊 On his September 6th “Gotcha Day” he weighed 4lbs, today he’s 14lbs.. He’s been such a Joy, he’s sweet, so very smart, happy, energetic, very healthy, loves everyone he meets, his veterinarian gets kisses, he thinks all the dogs and cats are his friends and loves walks on the beach ☀️🥰.

Our beautiful, adorable puppy arrived sick with a UTI and several parasites. One being Giardia, which can be transmitted to humans. After contacting the "company", one of its reps suggested not to eat the poop as a precaution. Very unprofessional! They offered a few hundred dollars back, but fast forward a couple of aggravating months, that amounted to nearly $2k in medical bills for several rounds of tests, meds, and prescription food, the amount they credited was a joke in comparison. We had to hold off on puppy trainers, groomers, and socialization with other dogs and people until we were free and clear of parasites. Before this, I've only rescued dogs - and I never, ever experienced anything like this with any of my rescues. Needless to say, thanks to Crockett Doodles, I will never purchase another dog again.
Sidenote ‐ a friend also purchased a dog of a different mix from CD soon after we did, and theirs also arrived with Giardia. Proceed with caution!
We are sad to hear about this pup’s health challenges. We deeply care for all our puppies, both in our care and after they go to their forever homes. As responsible breeders, we follow a thorough deworming protocol and conduct fecal tests to ensure our puppies are healthy and parasite-free before they leave us. We also provide a 1-year health guarantee, which requires a vet visit within the first 7 days, and a 12-year guarantee for long-term support. This puppy tested negative for Giardia before going home. When the client reached-out about the pup’s health, we followed our Health Guarantee and reimbursed for the invoices submitted to us.

I love my doodle from Crockett Doodles. We never hesitated to get a "Love Pup" that had a bumpy start but is 100% healthy. "Ollivander", now known as Jasper Jackson Ollivander 3rd - (Jasper for short)- is thriving. He especially loves playing with his 4 month old brother, Picasso (the kitten). These two are endless amounts of fun and mischief.

Crockett Doodles is another doodle breeding operation! A family breeding environment doesn't have over 10 variations of doodles for sale at any given time unless they are OVER breeding. Don't support puppy mills disguised as responsible breeders.

From start to finish this has been an amazing experience. We picked out our pup from a litter, had her delivered, spoke with the breeder & had pics sent, on the day of delivery had great communication on when she was expecting to arrive, she came with a blanket, leash & collar & small bag of food. I feel so bad people are paying for something they could get from a shelter… these aren’t a real breed they’re just mutts advertised as something “purebred”
We see that you are not a client of ours and have not purchased a puppy from one of our families. We certainly believe everyone is welcome to their personal opinion about mixed breeds like Doodles. We certainly agree that they are not the right fit for every family, but Doodles can provide a wonderful opportunities for families with allergies to have a dog in their home. This is our third Bernedoodle, two for my husband and I and one for our daughter. I would never consider any other source when wanting to purchase a puppy.
