Fantastically run first aid course for outdoor based activities. Sean was clear, concise and constructive in all learning and feedback. The scenarios were fun, informative, a great way to test knowledge and understanding as well as a chance to act out in style! 🤣 overall I would highly recommend this course. 😁

I did the Outdoor First Aid training for my ML qualification with Sean and can’t recommend him highly enough. I learned loads, time was definitely flying and after day 1, I was looking forward to the next day. Sean is an awesome guy, he made learning fun and delivered everything I was expecting from the course and so much more. I especially liked the aspect of transferring theory to real life/ outdoor scenarios. Thanks Sean!!!

Sean delivered the best first aid training that I have ever had from both a work setting and 3rd sector voluntary situation and that is over more than 40 years in my case. He was both knowledgeable and engaging and made the 7 hours with him fly by! I would absolutely recommend Sean and his company to anyone who is looking to update their own knowledge of first aid.

Spent a great day in the Pentlands learning basic navigation skills from Sean. The day was very informative, not only about navigation but also included lots of tips for hillwalking and safety. Sean manages to deliver all this in a relaxed, fun and well paced way, making it enjoyable and easy to learn. I would highly recommend booking with CPS Activities.

I would highly recommend Sean at CPS Activities Ltd if you are considering developing your hill skills and navigation training. I attended a hill skills course with Sean in the Pentland Hills last weekend and thoroughly enjoyed the course. Sean is an experienced mountain leader who was very passionate about sharing his vast experience with the students who attended the course. From the outset he put us all at ease with his relaxed teaching style that made for a great learning experience. He was very patient and always willing to help and answer my questions. I have been hillwalking for several years, yet I learned so much from Sean in terms of keeping myself safe on the hills and interpreting the landscape and weather conditions. I also learned how to navigate correctly and I can honestly say that my map and compass skills improved 100% over the two days. I am due to start my Hill and Moorland Leader course in the near future and being tutored by Sean has helped my preparation enormously.

I joined CPS Activities Hill Walking Skills two day course last weekend. I grew up in the Highlands and love walking in the hills but needed training in map reading and navigation, and strategies and skills to keep me and my partner safe especially if bad weather conditions suddenly appear when up on higher ground. Sean is an excellent leader and coach with a wealth of knowledge and experience which he freely shares. I am in my 70s and was a bit concerned about spending full days out on the hills in varied weather conditions, but Sean set an easy pace for us while coaching us in essential personal skills. This is very much a hands on practical course, learning on the job as you walk through the Pentlands and I can thoroughly recommend it.

Great day on a contour-only navigation workshop with CPS Activities. Instructor was knowledgeable, very skilled at teaching and making sure all participants understood each part of the training. Ample opportunity for practice and consolidation of skills learned during the session and for asking questions/seeking clarification. We had a map reading/navigation Sean with course a few weeks ago. From start to finish Sean was very professional, informative and has a friendly manner. The course was well structured and and no point did you feel out of your depth, due to the relaxed teaching manner. With more and more people heading out onto the hills, this is one course that you should invest in. I am looking for ward to flying solo with Seans newly imparted information firmly in my mind.
