A Scenic Drive. A Beautiful Farm.
My husband and I enjoyed a scenic country drive to Cochrane Family Farm to buy flower and vegetable plants for our garden. Frank Cochrane greeted us and took time to give us a tour of the gardens and tell us about the workings of an organic farm. We were surprised and pleased to see all their offerings in herbs and vegetables. It was fun to look at all the interesting local products in the store - teas, soaps, chocolates, coffees, kitchen staples and much more. It was a really enjoyable and informative experience. Beautiful farm!
Already looking forward to this years Christmas event. It’s been a long time since Christmas shopping put me in the spirit of the season like this does. I gave Cochrane seeds, spices and teas for Christmas last year and they were a huge hit.

Ordering online is easy and convenient but a visit to the farm is always a pleasure. I’ll definitely hit up another workshop and the garden centre selection is incredible. I’ve been taking credit for the compliments on my cooking but these spice blends deserve it more.

We love Cochrane Family Farm! There is a wide variety of fresh produce, house made teas, herbs and spices and it's all certified organic. You can even get local cheeses, snacks and baking items. I highly recommend stopping at their store if you are going by as there's lots of high quality products at a very reasonable price. We recently signed up for their loyalty program and it has been super worth it. Definitely recommend.

With so much to offer it’s always worth the trip
I’ve ordered online, shopped onsite and attended a workshop hosted by this amazing family, but besides the superior products they offer, knowledge the local variety and kind service my favourite experience so far has been their Christmas event. I’ve made it part of my traditions after just one and am already looking forward to the next. Their pesto seasoning is a very close second though :)

My fiancé and I had the pleasure of visiting a few days ago. We had a great time touring the farm and learning about the plants and life in Nova Scotia from Frank. The farm is beautiful and their store is wonderful with organic seeds, cheeses, teas, ointments, etc. Thank you so much for taking the time to show us around, Frank! We’ll be back!

I had great experience in Cochrane farm. It is 100% organic farm. We had tasty of some Veg and herb, they are so much better than those one in stores. Frank is a friendly and well knowledgeable owner who showed us most part of the farm. He is kind and his wife Lisa is sweet too. We definitely enjoyed the trip.
